Maybe your Zoi is sick, uncomfortable somehow, or has eaten something wrong. My Zoi doesn't like street food, and she will always complain about it.

Have you tried a first-aid kit? There's one in one of the part-time job locations, probably more too.

My bet is that it's a bug.
For me it got resolved by having my ZOI maximally tired then get him to bed.

Zois get sick if they eat spoilt food - leftovers from earlier, pizzas stored in the bag etc. Check why the zoi is feeling uncomfortable (hover over the mood icon, or one of the coloured string of dots, which show the history of events that trigger the mood change)

Happening to both my zois as well, no uncomfortable status, and no interaction with first aid kit, only examine. Will try to get them tired and see if that helps
Edit: Looks like it helped, so it seems to be either untriggered sickness that puts you in a permanent uncomfortable state. It happened around the time wife got pregnant so maybe thats somehow related?
