Game Crashing, What about you?

UGH Crashes!

Added: Following day, still decent amount of crashes. It seems to be completely random.

So i myself have crashed a few times now. I've read a few posts with similar situations and issues. This is what I've worked out so far.

I myself have crashed a fair few times. When i do crash usually both my display monitors go black. My game crashes and both my monitors visuals come back.

Most of the crashes seem to be either after travelling or just coming out of build mode. Some are completely random.

All my drivers and software are up to date.
I have verified my files. Multiple times now.
Game is on lowest settings now and things off if need be.
My system isn't showing any issues with CPU, ram etc. Everything else is fine.
Even games that run hard on my pc are fine.
I definitely meet the games requirements.

I don't get an error messages either. Nor are the crash logs where they should be. The game just crashes like it was never open.

These crashes seem to simply be optimisation, bad luck or some form of bug.

I have worked out from others that they are also getting random crashes. Crashes when travelling, building or paused too long. Some loosing visuals on displays too. So not sure what exactly is causing the crashes but there are enough people experiencing it for it to be a game issue. (I'm guessing)

How am i playing now?

Turned on autosave for every 5 minutes. Manually save after any big interactions/scenarios/situations. Tweaked my settings. If it crashes i simply grumble and growl and load it back up. It's not frequent enough for me to give up and loose progress but yeah its annoying. So i complain and keep going.

Aw Lucky <3. Mines been at the menu screen on my other monitor for over an hour while i type this and sort dinner for my kid and it's been fine so far. But yeah i've had 4-5 crashes randomly over 3-4 hours play throughout today. :(

I've run into this too, played for about 6 hours with no issues, now it's crashing a lot randomly. No idea what's going on.

From the first start of the game i encounter crashes after pretty much playing 1 hour...then the game suddenly makes a CTD. Also the crash seems to delete all my friend connections aswell. Not sure if its maybe because i am using german as game language which is completed only 44% ..havent tested it yet...but to be honest i slowly getting bored of starting all over again every time.

My game just crashed and I had not saved at all since starting my first new game. Everything lost ;-;

Played like butter yesterday well into the night, ran into some glitchyness this evening and just saved and closed the game for a bit. Still has not crashed though.

It is in early access however, so I think everyone will experience some kind of problems. It did have a message saying there would be bugs and other problems when the game opens. I had quite a few crashes also and it is very annoying, but i'm not too surprised. Give the devs time, and hopefully they will fix it at some point.

Yea, from what I heard the devs seem pretty good. I'm sure they're already working on it.

I agree, the devs seem super cool.

They actually listen to it's community, unlike some others.

My computer model is i7-13650HX + RTX 4060 laptop, win 11
The graphics card driver and Windows version have been updated.
I don't know why my computer shuts down every 2 hours of gaming. I'm sure it's not an overheating issue.

I experienced quite a lot of problems with Windows 11 when I upgraded. So many crashes and problems. I went back to Windows 10 until it's sorted. Hopefully before October this year. It might not be a Win 11 problem for you, but it was for me.

I myself have windows 10. I expect bugs :) I just wanted to make a post about it as there seems to be a few people having the issue :)

Mine most commonly seem to be after an hour too. I thought it wasn't a pattern but it does seem to happen a lot after the hour. I have had a few random ones though.
