I mean inZOI got me back into life Sims so much that I actually bought all of the Sims 4 and every dlc it had 3 times. 1 for me. 2 for the kids. And I don't know something about Sims is hard for me to replace. Maybe it's. Nostalgia as I grew up with it. Call me weird but I personally don't think inzoi can top Sims for me. Inzoi I love a lot but not for the same reasons I love the Sims.

Sims 2 is my overall favorite. But Sims 3 got more hours just due to how time worked and the factor I can adjust how long my Sims aged for. But Sims 3 removed the immersion factors Sims 2 had and replaced them with rabbit holes. Sims 4 removed open world. For me I enjoy all the titles from Sims 1-4. Medieval is another one, just didn't like the forced to rush quest lines rather than allowing me to play at my own pace.

The trouble for sims 4 was it was built with an engine for an online multiplayer game , That idea got kicked into touch after the mess with sim city but they still used the engine with all its restrictions where everything had to be as low poly as possible . At least CC helped to sort that , Inzoi looks way more realistic but now people with old or low graphic pc's complain . My pc is not the best but if i couldn't play this game because of the specs that would be my problem not Inzoi's . i certainly wouldn't be on here making post after post whining about it , I would just play something else

A damn shame too, Sims Online would be a success since there isn't any MMO right now that is like that

They tried a Sims Online and then it died the death because they insisted on putting in micro transactions in for every single thing you did (As EA always do ) and then because that pretty much was a death sentence to the game for getting more players , they pulled the plug on it

This isn't going to "kill" the sims. Something is only dead once its gone, the sims will always be here to play unless EA on their own decides to kill it. Also most people will excercize the ability to play multiple games, I'm doubtful people who've spent hundreds of dollars and hours on the sims 4 are going to abandon it just for this game.

bit ironic for a guy named illusion to take issue with a fictional cat, lol

I don't consider it a sim killer. It is true that since I played Inzoi I have not played Sims 4 again. But it's also true that I haven't played Sims 4 for 5 years before this february that I took it up again because I wanted to see how it was and what mods were out there.

Ironically, after playing the sims I started to see if there were more games of this style out there, to try something new and I discovered that Inzoi was going to be launched in early access. And here we are.

Maybe we should see it the other way around. Sims 4 is the mother that has given birth to Inzoi and is breastfeeding it. And sons don't usually kill their mothers.

Like saying there is an axe murderer out there, someone who murders axes because they want to. Are you a killer of simulations or is the simulation the killer?

I stopped playing Sims 4 about four years ago, though I would occasionally pick it up if an update interested me. Haven't been able to commit long term just because it doesn't entertain me like the older games have.

They're not exactly games like the sims, but you might like games similar to Rimworld or Kenshi, that's how I filled the void Sims 4 left. Dwarf Fortress and Amazing Cultivation Simulator were also excellent. There's tons more out there with different flavoring, so you really have your pick. The only caveat is that they're a little slow to get started, and have a little bit of learning curve.

That made me shiver, and I don't have emote to best express how it made me feel.

Tinylife already out there and Paralives coming next, you are gonna wish to have the Total Recall mutant woman to come to the rescue before too long.

hahaha.

Tiny Life last I played it needed some work, it's cute but I had a hard time grasping the UI and understanding aspects of it. It's more similar to Sims 1 based on what i can tell, which while it is a good game, isn't my favorite of the 4.

Real excited for Paralives though, that'll be fun once it launches into EA.

Honestly right now I'm craving pure life simulation games. The ones you mention don't appeal to me right now. I'm closer to a Coral Island than a Keshin actually. And I know Coral Island is more of a cozy game than a pure life simulator. But that's my point. But thanks for your recommendations.
