48 mins in game day time still too long!
By default it's what like... 96 minutes in game time? That's a bit absurd.

But really? I can only lower it down to just barely an hour for one "in game" day to pass? I was honestly hoping for like 30 minutes to be the lowest.

In game time is WAY too long. Let me explain why.

My character get Hungry, tired, etc, etc, WAY too fast, and if you're looking to make this game more realistic "time wise" there is no way on god's green earth, that someone will eat a full meal, and feel like they're starving 30 minutes later. This isn't a Chinese all you can eat buffet.

Further more, after sleeping around 8 hours in game, my character find himself tired in like 2 hours of simply painting, or just doing random stuff.

I want to really say the in game time is off, and I could be wrong, but something is definitely off between the time, and my characters "needs". If it's realism you're looking for in this game, it's done horribly wrong.

Hit "T"

It turns off their AI/Free will. I found that just going into settings and turning off their "Free Will" wasn't enough, they will still auto turn on their autonamy, but you can just hit "T", or click the switch from ther "needs" icon to off, so they don't move around.

Wish the options would just disable it, when I CHOSE disable "Free Will". I suppose it's early access... But still, just an annoyance.

Not to mention that they can eat a stack of pancakes bigger than their heads and still be hungry...
Yes! plus the sleeping time is crazy long even on 8x speed, i'm spending 5 irl minutes just staring at my monitor watching my zois sleep.

Time moves way too slow and speeding up time barely does anything either. Even x30 is too slow. Plus it doesn’t work half the time even if all my zois are sleeping.

Well, I don't understand your feelings, I play in 96 and it seems correct to me.

I have to eat 3 times a day (a real meal, not just soup), sleep 1 time and possibly take a nap...
But maybe it's because of the character trait ? Mine is adventurous

Sleep and energy are something different tho

Keep in mind that if you speed up the time sim, your Zoi will age very quickly... and that's a problem to me. Zoi went from young adult to adult in 1.5 season

Dreamer Trait increases your Sleep depletion by a LOT. My dude is dead tired after 8 hours of work, I sometimes have to nap on the couch at work to even finish a days worth of work.

So far, I'm not seeing this complaint about people's Zoi aging quickly. I'm currently in the Winter Season, went from Spring, to summer, fall, now Winter. My Zoi only went from Young Adult, to Adult.

The speed is a problem, because most tasks at work, take 2 hours to finish both the morning, and afternoon hours of work, and I'd rather not sit there idley watching my Zoi for 6 hours a day, or if I have a Part-time job, sit there waiting idle for 3-4 days, awaiting the work days again. It's boring.

And since there's literally no interactions you can do with other Zoi's yet, not even the bare minimum of offering them a meal, there's not really much else to do, but work, fill up some other traits (which doesn't take long at all), and spam talk to a bunch of Zoi's, until you find someone you'd like to Marry and such.

I'm not saying the game by default should have a shortened time at all. I'm saying give the players an option for a shorter day, should they choose so. A 30 minute in game day timer would really be much appreciated, or else it just starts to feel like each and every day becomes a "Chore" to finish.
I play the game on the default 96 minutes setting, and for me it's perfect. I enjoy and prefer the slower pace. The Sims feels like there's not enough time in the day to do what you want to do, while InZOI gives you enough time to enjoy yourself. The need bars drop slowly, and feels fairly balanced.

Same, 96 is fine. I feel like all the needs are balanced around those 96 minutes.

Also I don't understand OPs "gets hungry too fast" problem. My zoi isn't stuck to the fridge eating all the time, so I find it strange. Was there a somekind of metabolism trait somewhere? Or is it the faster day cycle that OP has changed?

When playing The Sims I always feel like there isn't enough time to do things especially when you add expansion packs and mods (there just isn't enough time to feed all the horses and sell a couple of bags of cocaine to Agatha Crumplebottom) I love that this game has the option to change it, that will bode well when more content and mods come in and you'll be able to scale it to the content you have, this game doesn't have a lot of content at the moment as it's still unfinished so it needs the option to make the day length a little shorter. They need feedback to get the game right so maybe find where to do that probably a discord or something certainly not here on the Steam forums then tell them to add more time scales to the day length so people can tailor it to how they want their sandbox to be.

If they're not going to take Feedback from the main source where the game is being played, that's a huge mistake on their part.

Myself, and others don't have, nor want to spend the time of day giving our thoughts, and opinions/feedback on a spam messenger. I have no intention to use my Discord for anything more than friends, and communication with said friends, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way either, I don't need thousands of different servers on Discord.

There's general discussion on Steam forums for a reason, much like their are review sections, and if you don't think that's a place where feedback is/should be given, look no further than the outburst players made, and got changed with Helldivers 2.
I set it to realtime when I first started playing... Holy tedium, Batman!
4 hr. days is the sweet spot for me... would be nice if the sleep/food needs balanced to the day length... my zoi eats like 8 meals a day, and has to take naps to function like a "normal" person... Part of me wants to turn the autonomy up to 11, set the day length to 24hrs, and just walk away from my PC... Just to see how long the zoi would live.
