My main problem is that a lot of these "simulation" games are very light in simulation and after watching the game preview it didn't really gave me much information on that.
Visually the game looks amazing and all that, but for me all that is secondary. I wonder how good and deep are the actual gameplay. Does it feel like every time you create new character is same stuff, or does it actually feel like thing are different and change more "organically"?
What I mean by that is that I feel other games have taken over the mantle of simulation and the "sims" like games tend to be more like doll house thing, which isn't that interesting for me. Meanwhile Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld has better simulation :D.
Just watch gameplay on youtube or something ^^ or streams, then you can see if it's something for you or not.
Playing sims 3 or 4 you cannot say its great within that small frame. Neither can.
More so seeing
Either its bots/dev alts or shills. Game is sus af..
Its a paid sponsorship for Hyundai cars on one hand.. and really close to no clothing/etc on the other.
There is weather but it has to be changed manually in the edit city options. It says in game that the weather has no effect on Zois, but I haven't tested this. If that is the case, you can currently create summer and winter outfits for your Zoi, so it seems that weather affecting gameplay is probably on the cards.
There are some active jobs, but the jobs I've played so far have functioned as the Zoi getting a taxi to work and disappearing until returning home at the end of their shift.
Aging is done in life stages. There's newborn, toddler, child, teenager, young adult, adult, middle aged, and senior.
It's a fun game so far with lots of potential, but you can definitely tell that it's in early access.
the game is good.
there are things i don't like.
its overwhelming having too meany tags and options to pick from,
i still could not find where or how to delete my households and make another family again.
in term of relationship, too meany safe guards. like you can't cheat on your spouse with a step or in law member in the family,
i don't like it, i like creating castle relationships drama in these type of games.
i would've rather delete that lame into just so i don't have to skip it every time i start a new game.
i became such a boomer, there's a beauty in simplicity.
All in all, I think if you're looking for a well-rounded life simulator, this might not be up to spec just yet. I'm very excited for where the developers and modding community takes there game though. I see a lot of potential.
