inZOI
Do you think EA might try to take this down?
I fear that if this game becomes a huge success that EA might find ways to shut it down, similar to Nintendo trying to shut down Palworld. Do you think this could happen?

I seen them on twitter supporting them so I doubt it, but maybe in the future if this game become big they might try to “ buy “ it from them lol

Got a link for that? My Twitter-fu is substandard
why should they? inzoi is not cloning anything and in the way this game plays is alot different than sims.

Not really, it's basically sims 3 but on UE5 with direct controls. Not trying the bash the game in case it seems like. I'm just concerned is all.
I don't think EA will do that, but from just playing the game for the first 2 hours, I could definitely see them making some major changes to how they approach the development for The Sims franchise. I don't think this game has what it takes to be "better" than The Sims currently, but the potential is definitely there, and I am excited to play it in the future when the rough edges are ironed out and more features are added. So far this is a great "base game" when compared to any of the The Sims series base games.

You are right with that...but also dont forget. EA had the Monopoly on such kind of games and if they feel InZOI is a big competition they will find ways...Even when they say "Hey you voiceacting sound exactly like ours" or anything else....

yes

Game Journalist and western devs don't like chinese/japanese devs.

(Doctor Disaster made video about InZoi, where he talked about this)

Soo I expect something from Devs and Journalist ... bad reviews, etc.
(cuz this game isn't for MoDeRn AuDiEnCe)

They have no grounds to do so.

Nintendo and Palworld is a different scenario, surrounded by different laws and patent practices in Japan.

EA is an American company.

Inzoi is made by a Korean developer, and it's an original game. They only share the genre of life sim.

This is true. This is one of the first games in awhile where my hardware actually struggles at certain points. I haven't done much fiddling with the graphics settings but have at least managed to get a stable 50-60FPS with my 3060 TI. If this game really does become a long-term winner in the genre though, then I could see The Sims having some real stiff competition. Especially if InZoi can avoid the 1k worth of DLC path in developing the game.

InZoi is not a Sims competition, they are both totally different games

I mean...it is a competitor though.

The games are pretty similar. Especially if you are comparing the base games with one another. I would say that InZoi probably has a deeper relationship simulation aspect to it though, and a more serious tone. Haven't played enough to say that for sure, but based on some of the systems in place, if they actually work as intended as of right now, then there is that difference, but there are too many similarities to not compare the two games.
