Same on my 2080ti. I just get in the inner thoughts 'i don't have anything on my mind right now' :/ a shame really as it looks like a pretty cool feature.
It uses DIRECTML & Onnx (or w/e its spelled)
Which AMD fully supports. And yes IT DOES.. AGAIN for the 100th time work the same on AMD as it does Nvidia, Just "buggier"
Its not as responsive all the time.
But when it is, it works IDENTICAL. I have both an XTX and 4090 right here, same room, tested my self and helped others do the same.
It functions just as it does on my Nvidia PC. Nothing different at all.
But the only downside is it will BUG OUT quicker on AMD than Nvidia. Then kick back in and work fully later in at random.
The fact every one thinks AMD's line up has no AI capability is hilarious.
Why else do you think the RDNA3 series was PARTNERED with AMD's AMUSE AI.
Durp..
It does everything Nvidia does.
Nvidia just does "more" in their own way.
Hell.. AMD Is the leader in AI data centers til this day and just now made another AI investment.. expect far more very soon.
They stated 4 items it DOES NOT WORK on amd.
Forcing does not make it work. THE bubbles is not the AI aspect.
The cleared it up, and unti lthe cloud based version is doen, right now, No it actually does not work on amd gpus, and yes i have both. AMD gpus do not have the required chip to run it.
I can’t see any reason why nvidia would make it functional on amd hardware so perhaps its up to amd to make up some sort of alternative. To be honest in its current state the feature seems nothing more than a novelty at best.
