Food disappearing

I'm having an issue where if I try to make my zoi cook a meal they get charged the money, pull it out of the fridge but when they set it on the counter it flashes and then disappears. It worked the first time but every time after that it doesn't work

Same thing was happening to me, I went into build mode and removed all items off the counter and that seemed to fix it

Same. It was not happening when I played earlier today but started happening when I started playing about 10 minutes ago. First thing I had her do was cook something, but the food kept disappearing.

Same here! It worked the very first time and never again. I even tried replacing the range because I thought maybe I missed where it broke down on it (like everything has!). But no dice. I see the comment above that things on the counter mess with the range apparently, and I bought a coffee machine and put it on the counter top. I will try moving it to inventory to see if that fixes it.

I had this issue. Fixed it by moving stuff that was on the counter, that zoi uses for cooking, out of the way.

There was nothing on my counters, but thank you for responding.

What ended up working for me, strangely enough, was moving the refrigerator, which was right next to the counter. Cooking had worked with the refrigerator in that location previously, so I'm not sure why it suddenly became an issue, but moving it fixed the problem.

Same. I had my Zoi try to prepare chicken salad yesterday and it just disappears when she tries to make it.

That happens when the table is not empty. Remove it all.
