I installed the game but Im waiting for a friend that wants to watch me play it for the first impression.

How is the game ? Seeing a few saying crashes etc, hopefully this isnt the case and it is playable for some.

Yea you have about double my ram and your CPU is much better than mine (Intel Core i7-13620H) I should be fine, doing some research and I should be able to play with the smartzoi and ray tracing feature on about medium settings overall. Higher without the 2.

Its cool. If you're the creative builder type this is a wish come true I think. I wish the actual simulation was a bit tougher though. You kind of start out being able to basically afford 80% of everything in the game without having to work towards furnishing your place.

I was kind of hoping for a bit more of a "grind" or life-sim before I could get into full creative sandbox mode.

Overall enjoyable though, really neat to just run out the door and have the world to explore and interact with. Definitely better than the sims.

No crashes and runs flawlessly on my gaming rig.

I disagree. That "long road" could be accomplished in like 6 months. People forgot what can be achieved by a company that doesn't have their main focus being money. EA squeezes every bit of revenue they can out of people. They could've easily had almost all content in one dlc.

This game is very good so far, just got a new rtx 4090 laptop and runs great. There are a few bugs but nothing horrible.

Reminds me alot of Sims 3 with the whole open world. The over the shoulder view is a little weird......I really hope we get a first person view.

since it came out today, everything seems a little slow and glitchy. the furniture and rooms has amazing quality but the character itself in the world looks really pixelated. hopefully its better throughout the months

Fun! Looks good even on the minimum settings (lol).
The only problem I have currently is how my Zoi's are mean a random. :(
One moment they are best friends, the next they are tearing at each other like rabid dogs. (hoping the team will improve/fix this in the future.)
Other then that, I enjoy the careers and the fact that they can go to college (unlike the sims (you need DLCs for that)) Its nice running around, however it does get tedious at times.

I've already tried out a few things in the game and I'm really pleasantly surprised.
I was expecting a typical “early access” game ... But it's so much more than that.
The world is beautifully designed. You can see the love of the developers at every point.
Even now in Early Access, the simulation is at least at the same level as SIms, if not better.
The controls with WASD are really innovative and feel very good.

I can't say too much about the performance, as I didn't expect it to run so well for me. My PC is relatively weak.

Ryzen 7 1700x
24GB DDR4 on 2400mhz
GTX 1080 (non TI)

On high settings, I now have an average of 45 FPS with 1080p
(of course without raytracing).

But even with this frame rate and without raytracing, the game looks very nice and still feels smooth.
(Maybe I'll upgrade my PC for Inzoi :D

So far a great game for me and I'm looking forward to the next updates and the development.
So I'm going to bed now, as I'm really tired after 9 hours of work and was actually just waiting for the game :)
