Game Stuck in Demo Mode After Purchase

Anyone else having this issue? I purchased, and downloaded, and it's stuck in demo mode. I've tried clearing my steam cache, and my computer storage, restarting... Still nothing.

uninstall the demo from your steam library and then reinstall the full game. From today the demo should not start at all. Your steam library should show both the demo and the full game in your list.

I am having this issue also. I uninstalled the demo and reinstalled the purchased game. Still says demo next to character and build mode. I can, however, access gameplay now, but when it takes me to character mode, it still feels like the same content as it was in the demo. I can't find traces of demo files on my PC either...

I’m also having the same kind of problem and I can’t figure out what to do I’ve uninstalled the demo too and even reinstalled the full game and it was still stuck

Just to be sure... the actual paid game did have the 2 big "demo" buttons, but just upside the buttons their is another one called new game, new family or sth of the like (i play in french)

At least a couple of the people asking here don't own the game, did they refund or have they not bought it? Pesky Steam label people who purchase next to their user names in posts.

In my case I asking for a friend of mine that is having this problem, because I don't have the game.
