The game is good but it has some issues and one of my biggest complaints is that from what i hear your characters age too fast. They need a setting where we can control when they age up. The later sims games had this,

To be fair the game has the same level of fun that the Sim has with all of its DLC.
All these games have ever been is essentially a massive list of scripted animations that play off your selection.

Want to be good at a thing, force your character to do that thing tell they are....
There is no consequence for actions past you want food and sleep.
Need Social... go outside and talk to anybody.
Want money.... paint things tell you are rich (I find it funny this works for sims and InZoi)

There is no point to get a job or do any of the other methods to generate money when you can make 6k off 1 Perfect painting..... do that for like 2 days and you have 100k as a teenager living on their own ditching High School.

Both the Sims and InZoi look a mile wide but they are both an inch deep no matter how much content you cram into them... they will always be the same basic series of scripted animations giving you the illusion of a sand box world. Reality is nothing you do has any serious impact on the world for long if at all.

The level of ImAgInaTiOn you have to be willing to apply to what you are seeing on screen needs to be thick in order for this game or the sims to feel remotely alive.

Now don't get me wrong I understand the game is in EA and there is probably a lot of content and features we don't have yet. The fact I can throw the camera over my shoulder and turn it into a third person adventure and walk all around the city is everything I ever wanted in Sims 4.

I wish there was a way to insert more of a GAME into these Sandbox worlds, they always feel so vapid of purpose outside of facilitating a animation triggered from interaction with random item X

Yeah but...how about some music? The characters age up quick af, but you live entire days working or you're at school. No bars, no drinking no dancing after you've just watched your zoi live a more boring life then you do lmao

If I were EA I'd hire an army of desktop warrior to post negative press about this game all day.

nobody is saying that but how do you know the dev was not going to fix it anyways also do you know what Early access even means?
I don't know and you don't know either lol. The idea of early access ( at least when done right) is to allow players to try the game so you can get feedback and improve it before it launches. That what larian did and we all saw how bg3 turned out. Presenting problems/faults so the devs are aware of them should be the goal of players during early access.

That is correct. We players should give feedback. But a lot of people these days can't behave themselves. Especially on the internet. Feedback means objectively highlighting the problems with the game and making suggestions for improvement if necessary. Instead of swearing like many here in the forums, attacking each other or starting idiotic political debates.

Doesn't matter much, the developers don't seem to frequent these forums sad to say, they are on that discord crap. So any feedback from the last few weeks on this forum has loikely long gone into the wind until someone can share that feedback to the developers.

True we need more content, bigger cities and mod support.

I am sincerely glad that developers avoid this forum like the plague precisely for the reasons you say.

It is possible that they are already aware of the number of political zombies who repeat like cockatoos the arguments of fascist or religious fundamentalist pressure groups.

Apart from the issue of propaganda rubbish, I've seen some people asking for things that are already in the game or wanting to remove features because they've played for two hours and don't even know what the game is about or how the feature works.

I'm glad. I'm really glad. If by any chance there are some clueless developers reading this...

Run away you fools!!!!

This is my complaint. The gameplay doesn't have much to it and trying to get to places is to complicated.

Smart zoi is off by default so maybe that contributes to it, while also being a function that needs more work tbh. I have to be careful with what I put in that window but most times my zoi’s are causing chaos when I look away for 5 seconds.

They also love to fight all the time too (even with high karma wtf) and I end up missing wtf the drama was about, and just watching zois swing punches at each other. I hope they give more detailed logs or even a convo log would be awesome.
