Edit: ram shot up to 14.1 froze up but it unfroze and continued playing and lowered back to 12.5-12.7
The problem is probably you got better requirements on your computer rather than Steamdeck I think! That’s a good thing it’s not really crashing on pc ☺️
It’s annoying to be playing sim games on such a “small” screen, thinking of buying an external monitor.
I’d be satisfied to play it on a bigger screen even if sometimes crashes, I mean if i don’t want it to crash I should get a gaming pc.
So as a first version I’m not that shocked it’s crushing on a portable console
I see!! Thank you!
Lol I put the resolution scale on like 70% 🤣😅 Keeping the graphic settings on the lowest … that’s a nice suggestion for sure
Really Agree!
This happened to me at the beginning but only once! I don’t find any problem now changing the outfits.
Don’t worry as developers will adjust & improve the stability thru time.
Are you playing on the lowest graphics? Playing like that my game tend to work for awhile with no lagging and runs fine

Thank you so much dear!! 🥰
That’s so interesting to try!!!
Thank you so much ❤️ for helping!
Thank you didn’t know that!!! :)
Gonna try as well
Unlike some suggestions I've read somewhere, it plays better without enabling dynamic resolution. On the lowest settings at the moment and disabled raytracing, I play it on the Deck with connected monitor, keyboard and mouse using 1600x900 resolution.
From additional personal tweaks I enabled screen sharpening (r.Tonemapper.Sharpen) and tweaked a little TemporalAA to reduce the ghosting effect in SystemSettings of write protected Engine.ini that I put in the AppData/Local/BlueClient settings directory of the compatdata prefix. Note that Engine.ini file gets deleted from there after launching the game if it isn't write protected. Tonemapper's sharpening improves the image quality for me a lot, from what I had by default. I haven't seen much drop in performance between 1280x720 and 1600x900 when using the lowest settings.
The raytracing which is enabled by default even with the lowest quality and low screen resolution gives a big performance hit, so it's better to disable it, but instead you can probably change some other settings to make the game look better (I only played for a little over 3 hours so far, half of that with default lowest quality without any tweaks, so I'll still be checking with enabling some of quality settings one by one, like for example shadows). Some settings may probably require decreasing the resolution back down to 1280x720 to keep the game still performing reasonably (i.e. to have over 25fps). With the Deck's built-in 1280x800 this means some of the quality settings can also be increased a little from the lowest and have the game still playable, but raytracing definitely needs to stay turned off.
Thank you for sharing your experience and suggestions 🥰
It’s nice cause I am (used to be, playing only on Steam from a year lol) a console gamer and not really keen on games settings.
I’m learning with time and experiences.
Have to check for proton ge, Did you experience some crashes during your gameplay?
And what’s that tone mapper sharpening you’re talking about?
I got used playing on the lowest graphics, keeping the resolution around 60/70% smooth things.
I just played for 2 hours with no problems, now it was auto-saving and I told my Zoi to do an action and it crashed 🙈 but it’s okay.
Gotta be gentle with the game lol
