No achievements? No buy sadly
Seems like there are no achievements, would be sad and an instant no buy until they add some. I know many here don't understand my point and find it funny but for me it's a extra bonus motivation to hunt achievements.

Achievements are just meaningless digital stickers. They don’t change the gameplay, don’t add real value, and are often just arbitrary tasks designed to keep you playing longer. If a game is good, you don’t need achievements to enjoy it. If a game is bad, no amount of achievements will make it fun. If you need achievements for motivation, maybe you’d have more fun collecting participation trophies in real life instead.
Achievements... not really a nessecery in pc gaming. now in console gaming you actally earn points for achivements so it would make sense to download every game on there

Even if Achievements were on the table, it's unlikely they will come until the end of early access right into release when everything is set in stone.

It's early access so maybe that's why? Could easily be added later
This early access is probably only 20% of the actual game and will take years to get to 90%. The achievements are great, but this project is still in its infancy without even a real demonstration within hours of its launch. That's probably what people will buy... a demo.
Wow, so many steam users are such babies. Achievements in Steam are worthless. Play games for fun sometimes dude.

I personally like achievements but it's not a deal-breaker. Plus the game is early access, achievements and trading cards will undoubtedly come later.

Well you have things to achieve within the game, not Steam achievements but at least some reason to try and achieve certain goals. Can't remember any of the top of my head from watching streams, but your lifestyle choice gives you certain goals to achieve.
For example maybe 'Get to level 10 in your career', or 'Eat at a restaurant 3 times' or something like that.

Pathetic LUL

so you buy games to expose the goals you have done, interesting.
Imagine not wanting to play a game because of metadata.

achievements might be added when the game is out for early access.
