ive been looking at buying this game, but since the piracy post, steam security post, and having seen youtubers, having to add their social media accounts, from ticktock facebook and such, ive decided to give this game a miss.
Its overly expressing the concern of exploitation of personal information collection, and given its an Asian product, it concerns me even more, regarding security.

These posts, threatening action over piracy, which too me, expresses a lack of content and depth of the game for the asking price of £39, which too me, is the only reason as to why they would make a post announcement such as this.
Further more, making a security post announcement, explaining how we should protect our accounts, when this is just a game, is either stupid or throws out security concern vibes regarding this product...

I strongly suggest staying away from this game, no matter how much your keen to play a Sims4 killer/replacement.

Its far too invasive for my liking, and using AI on top of all of this, is just screaming Bad things.
Its one thing having AI alone in a game, but requesting data collecting too, is a very scary thought.
Do we even know what AI the game is using? and is the company behind building the AI involved in anyway? its a very scary thought.
No game should essentially be spyware.

I know all of you are excited for a new sims type game, but please think about protecting yourself, and what games such as this are communicating.

GTA4's DRM prevented saving the game while pirated version completely worked. Then GTA4 updated so game wouldnt launch due to new Rockstar launcher being added but obviously pirate copies werent affected. Same with GTA5. Same has happened with many ubisoft titles. Depending on DRM they have limit how many times it can be installed (not at once how many reinstalls are allowed) before you have to ask to get it reset which pirates never experience. Games require steam to boot if you dont want this usually only alternative is piracy its relatively uncommon for GOG releases or independent dev releases. I would also argue it doesnt even matter since games operate on paypig model where price is inflated above that dev/publisher need then just let pay pigs pay. Is common market models for games.

If the DRM worked people wouldnt pirate to explicitly avoid the DRM that is supposed to prevent piracy. Usually the plan isnt do thing to stop thing which will create more of thing you want to prevent and never stop the practice even though your action is doing opposite of desired outcome unless devs/publishers collectively want piracy.

At least TV/Movie publishers have a excuse since the market forces motivate the stupid things they do but gaming market has no real excuse most big money makers are live service which are implicitly unpirateable forever unless something rare like players recreating the games servers which usually only becomes a thing when game dies and official servers are shut off.

Not illegal to have in games in the UK or us so they are not breaking the law. All DRM does is prevent people from illegally copying the game and releasing it for free somewhere else which people have said could damage your computer

The thing is Syria for instance was thrown to the wolves. Im not actually fully convinced China and Russia have real teeth or that US would bother defending Taiwan if it was invaded given the active disinvestment from Taiwan. 1. Not mandatory to create a krafton id, but doing so gives you access to canvas.

2. Not mandatory to link social media to inzoi.

3. If you do some research. How long ai has been in video games. It will tell you generated ai has been around since 1960s

4. For the guy that says noone will be able to find who he is trust me they will.

Because they already have info about you when you were born. Like your real name date of birth that's what you would class as data you don't want shared right
