ive been looking at buying this game, but since the piracy post, steam security post, and having seen youtubers, having to add their social media accounts, from ticktock facebook and such, ive decided to give this game a miss.
Its overly expressing the concern of exploitation of personal information collection, and given its an Asian product, it concerns me even more, regarding security.

These posts, threatening action over piracy, which too me, expresses a lack of content and depth of the game for the asking price of £39, which too me, is the only reason as to why they would make a post announcement such as this.
Further more, making a security post announcement, explaining how we should protect our accounts, when this is just a game, is either stupid or throws out security concern vibes regarding this product...

I strongly suggest staying away from this game, no matter how much your keen to play a Sims4 killer/replacement.

Its far too invasive for my liking, and using AI on top of all of this, is just screaming Bad things.
Its one thing having AI alone in a game, but requesting data collecting too, is a very scary thought.
Do we even know what AI the game is using? and is the company behind building the AI involved in anyway? its a very scary thought.
No game should essentially be spyware.

I know all of you are excited for a new sims type game, but please think about protecting yourself, and what games such as this are communicating.

Its currently under construction, but the intention is to have fake realistic conversation between you and these npc friends you make within the game.
What power it has, no-one knows, but again raises questions, of what potential risk it could have regarding what you can say too it.....

This game has an awful lot of huge questions, that i myself am not comfortable with, especially given the fact none of this is transparent, again because its a korean game.

How many of these war torn countries have been annexed or turned into western protectorates?

Answer: none, they are all independent countries with their own (democratic) gov and diplomacy.
So yes, the occident started a lot of wars, completely destabilized the middle east and some parts of Africa, but the democracy bomb is real, we left ruins and death, but most of these countries have become democracies.

Meanwhile, most countries backed by China and Russia have had military coups that ended democracies and put militias in power. And guess who are big fans of ethnic cleansing? Because in the US we can sue our government and companies for mishandling our data. Tencent in china they have no safe guards to protect your data.

Now I don't use social media because all my friends and family are near me and online friends are not real friends and I am not a narc. So i don't have to worry about handing over my data. As for steam they track my data in their app and the games a I play. The only games I had to opt out of data collection was final fantasy and ghost of tsuma and monster hunter wilds? This is how I know, you're lying, hospitals atleast in United States, require certain information before you get medical treatment, like insurance and address & name etc. unless you intentionally provide them with a fake ID or provide them with false information.
