"tencent" owns this company? Okay now it makes sense.
To be fair he sounds more like a bluesky user. Tencent is even worse then riot games with user data. Oh boy may god help your soul poor sweet child. You do not know what you are doing... I hope...
On the off chance you know exactly what you are doing?
Taiwan is a country my dear uncle!

Nothing unusual about this, especially coming from a large Korean company.
That one was a little odd at first(and has since been deleted), but I believe they said this purely because in order to use Canvas you also have to make an account with Krafton, which presumably links to Steam. I would imagine it's more to protect your account with them than Steam, which also is not unusual. If people get locked out of their inZOI Canvas accounts due to a security issue, it's more work for their support staff.
No idea what you're referring to here. Provide a link.
That's a huge leap lol. Also, again, nothing unusual. Lots of big developers and publishers take an anti-piracy stance.
Can you explain why this game collecting data is scarier than all the other games that you have that collect data? Or Steam collecting data? I do believe that we need better digital protection laws, but I'm not sure why I should be more concerned about this game than any other game that requires an internet connection. They also said in their Discord that they plan to add an offline mode, and removed Denuvo due to player feedback too.
Not sure what you're referring to. Which AI? Smart Zoi? Or the generative AI? I know one kind of AI used in the game is Nvidia Ace. If you're that worried about it, look it up and research it.
Most of this post seems really paranoid though, and I'm not sure why you're begging people to not play it like this.

The only tencent game I think I own is darktide and I barely play it because tencent loaded it with micro transactions and the devs barely do anything and under tencent's orders change the talents and can never get it right. I hate respecting my build almost every time i play. tencent as far as games go is pretty bad from my experience. You raged about minorities and Chinese companies.. That is a weird take for someone who isn't Chinese. I been to Korea, china and Taiwan a few times. I tested this no company or government has my personal data. I am invisible to this world. I am very proud of that.
not to mention Discord has AI all though it.
AI in general is going to cause ALOT and i mean ALOT of problems as Elon Musk said it has no proper oversight. and it will be used to steal info for monetary gain.
Because in the US we can sue our government and companies for mishandling our data. Tencent in china they have no safe guards to protect your data.
Now I don't use social media because all my friends and family are near me and online friends are not real friends and I am not a narc. So i don't have to worry about handing over my data. As for steam they track my data in their app and the games a I play. The only games I had to opt out of data collection was final fantasy and ghost of tsuma and monster hunter wilds? I always opt out so if they collect it without my knowledge or consent I can sue them under US law. Unless you as an american consent to data collection they cant data mine you. As for steam I don't care if they know what games I play.
When it comes to Asian made games there is no data consent laws at all so that is a big risk for anyone. Steam data collects my steam deck? big whoop, steam data collects my game play and uses of their app? Big whoop. They can not scan non-game files and if those files are scanned that would be a major law suit. Plus I don't break the law. I have nothing illegal on my computer and don't have any work files on this computer. Work computer and this computer for gaming and whatever is separate. So what will they mine? gaming files and few spicy pics of Asian women? and spicy tifa mods? Go for it!
If you are in the EU yes the US is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥ with your data because your governments allow it. Same goes for Asian countries and that isn't a US at fault thing that is because your governments allow it. That isn't an US problem. That is a you problem. Plus 5 eyes and that is a whole another can of worms. Me? I don't do anything that is illegal so I have nothing to worry about.
