Im staying away, and i think you should too!
Guys & gals.......
ive been looking at buying this game, but since the piracy post, steam security post, and having seen youtubers, having to add their social media accounts, from ticktock facebook and such, ive decided to give this game a miss.
Its overly expressing the concern of exploitation of personal information collection, and given its an Asian product, it concerns me even more, regarding security.

These posts, threatening action over piracy, which too me, expresses a lack of content and depth of the game for the asking price of £39, which too me, is the only reason as to why they would make a post announcement such as this.
Further more, making a security post announcement, explaining how we should protect our accounts, when this is just a game, is either stupid or throws out security concern vibes regarding this product...

I strongly suggest staying away from this game, no matter how much your keen to play a Sims4 killer/replacement.

Its far too invasive for my liking, and using AI on top of all of this, is just screaming Bad things.
Its one thing having AI alone in a game, but requesting data collecting too, is a very scary thought.
Do we even know what AI the game is using? and is the company behind building the AI involved in anyway? its a very scary thought.
No game should essentially be spyware.

I know all of you are excited for a new sims type game, but please think about protecting yourself, and what games such as this are communicating.

Please do think about this.
Thanks.

The concern isn't so much "Will it have DRM at release" and I think a lot of users are missing that.

It's that they already broke the law and put it on everyones PC using the demo & streamer copies with"OUT" their consent.

If the game has it or not at release isn't even the problem, YET, but it might be, its that they just up and put it on peoples rigs and are trying to remain silent on it, all meanwhile their mods on discord/reddit are trying to scrub the truth about that rather than discuss makes it more creepy.

Wait til it releases to see how this company is going to handle things when they get caught sticking their hand in the cookie jar, basically. I'm still no longer going to play it after this personally, companies get one strike for me. But I'm still going to observe what happens, and how much tries to get covered up.

Can I say "bye" when someone stays away? English is not my first language, let's see.
Maybe a "You aren't even invited" is appropriate.
Or even a "You're not welcome", but that get me banned.
Okay, please please please please stay, I love you so much! :steammocking:
Do you even know how an LLM works?

isnt it a .5b slm?
I was wondering why such warning about protecting your account. People protecting their account should be a common default. I've heard you make mods to this game however you want. Were they afraid of third party mods lead to accounts get hacked? or they don't trust their workers or people they hired to keep their work clean?
This announcement definitely feel weird, will keep it at a distance for awhile.

another user who has jumped on a bandwagon before they know for sure what Krafton is doing with Inzoi going into early access. if you had stated this on release day and Denuvo anti-tamper was still on the game i wouldn't contest your point of view.

As it is right now, will Krafton step away from this or will they continue to go full steam ahead? It is ultimately up to them if they want to succeed or fail at this.

By the sounds of it, the game wont have DRM given the piracy scare announcement post.

I just find the whole vibe of all of this, a giant Red flag. Its very weird as to why the company is throwign out these type of announcement posts, and you have to begin to think as to why?!

Why make a security announcement post? It makes no sense.
It is indeed a default thing you do regarding steam anyway, so why even mention it?
It screams out, that theres something else going on regarding this game.

As for reserving your view until release. well the game has technically been released now for alittle while given all the youtubers are playing it.
You can at the very least see what the game is providing, and what the AI might be doing behind the scenes.
Ive already watched youtubers, go through linking their social media accounts, so its a known thing aswell.

im finding all of this to be rather creepy.

I have played games with Denuvo , it has never put me off , I buy a game i like or like the look of . I have no issues with krafton putting out a reminder about account safety , They dont have access to steams security like phone numbers . Just some people scaremongering as always , Waiting for the release and will buy it ASAP ,

Usually the ones whining about security are the ones trying to get their hands on a free pirated version

at the price of playing a game, you could have varies data breaches, your accounts hacked, and bombard you with unwanted advertisements, and maybe using AI to influence your decision making and view points on things in the real world.
Its potentially a very dangerous product, especially as theres a feature in the game, where you can openly chat with the AI.

I can see some very immature individuals here.
no wonder the world has alot of problems.

Scare mongering?
To express my own personal view, and expressing my concern in response to how in which the company is behaving, isnt scare mongering. Its merely a reaction of discomfort. If theres any scare mongering, its the message behind why a company would be posting such odd announcements.

How about the varies individuals here, learn to respect someones views, and to simply take it on board, for yourself instead of attacking the person?!

Are we really still pretending, in 2025, that "they" don't already have all our info? Like, are you new? Put your tin-hats away.
