Does it have Denuvo?
Does this game have Denuvo? Would be a shame because I was kind of excited for it. :leysad:

I have a feeling it does not, but would also like to know.
How does it matter? I thought Denuvo is something game-makers use to protect piracy, correct?
Its unclear at the moment, but, if devs not speedrunning their reputation down, it probably won't have it

People consider it unwanted software as well. Plenty of speculation on performance and it being "malware" which is an overstatement, but there are enough reasons not to like it

Yeah, but it chopping down everything else in the process, including performance, privacy, budget and mod support, which is kind of a must for this game

They've added it recently to the demo.

No clue about the release. Only 1 or 2 days left. We'll know by then but i would not have high hopes.

Cuz it cost a buttload of money they could use to make the game better without making it take 6 more months?
Cause it literally doesn't affect the paying customer in any favorable way, hell making it worst?
The people who were gonna pirate won't buy it anyway so again, just the team wasting money, making an EA lacking stuff take even longer to make it better.
Cause that force the game online so daddy denuvo can check you out a random time of the month?
Cause it is known to affect performance,be in a minimal way or a big way doesn't matter,it WILL take some additional load of your cpu to do some bs in the background no one need, specially when the game ask stuff like a 7800x3D for ""recommended"".

Now,doesn't it feel like it matter?

Thats me but the fact they added it to the *demo* to me mean its in full game, its not like they paid only to use it on a demo, and theres no reason to do it only on the free product, they def gonna just toss it on the main game.

publishers know that its unwanted and unpopular. they would not consistently fail to fill out the DRM disclosure until the last second otherwise.

they could have easily given a clear and concise answer but they're deleting evidence and saying wishwashy nonsense.

They could've previously implemented it to protect the demo from being exploited to access the full version before the release, or to just test the waters, and pay, say, just for one year. I feel like if they not outright claiming that its there, at this point, its unlikely

Ironicly in the leak, you can only access the world with no NPCs.
The demo build yes i confirmed it myself but the EA release we have yet to see it.

You'd think they would have made an announcement already by now if it is not planned to be in the full game.

Maybe they are having emergency meetings to try to figure out what to do.

i hope it does, and before you at me, it does not affect performance

So, that kind of what I'm thinking as well. Since they not confirming anything, and avoiding giving a straight statement, maybe they got second thoughts, in case they had solid plans for it in the first place

That's what I think as well. The post about piracy they made has backfired and blew up like an atomic bomb. Perhaps they should seriously consider their next steps carefully. Many successful games let their quality speak for itself and don't need to use Denuvo.
