diferent wall sized rooms?

why i cannot build diferent tall attached rooms? the game forces you to make the whole house the same height. why can't i create let's say a room of 3mt height next to another room 4mt height?

I don't think that is even possible in the Sims. Maybe we will be able to do that in future, it is likely that the building system will get worked on during the EA period.
