Sims 4 Pros:
Sims 4 Cons:
InZoi Pros:
InZoi Cons:
However, this is with the caveat that InZoi is in Early Access and still actively being developed. There are plans for official mod support, the removal of Denuvo, and other upcoming features that will tilt the scale, but right now InZoi is worse than the Sims 4 with all DLC, but comparable to Sims 4 with no DLC.
with mcc command centre and a bunch of mcc mods and capping the frame rate to 60 with nvidia control panel makes the game run pretty normal with no issues.
no crashes or issues in the 300 or so steam hours
However, The Sims has years of content and development, while Inzoi is just getting off the ground and only has fundamentals of life-sim games right now. It is worth noting the foundation of Inzoi seems solid, so if it continues to develop as good as it is now, then The Sims might actually have competition.
Inzoi could be better then the Sims but it isnt yet and there features that ruin Inzoi like the forced aging system and random death systems with no counters.
On top that Inzoi has no full way to completely disable the free will of your Zoi so it breaks immersion with your Zoi randomly doing things when u have Free will off or even it will some times auto turn back on its dumb.
Over all Inzoi too alpha feeling then feeling like even early access in it state.
Plus many user's are not going to be willing to upgrade there computer just to play this game like i can't run this game on high setting only medium for a stable 75+ fps i can't play game's near 60fps or below defintly not below it's because i get headacks if the fps goes below near 60fps specially below it I need 75+ fps stability.
But im not going to upgrade my pc when all other games i mainly play i can run on max and just fine but this only game I also dont think the graphics for how heavy demanding this game is on high compair to medium is worth it. But I am surprize that the game look good even on medium some times even better on medium then high witch was odd to me but to be fair unreal engine 5 seems to be bad when it come to hardware per graphics improvement and this game's built on unreal 5 so you need a rocket ship for improve shades on spoons like really.
I think the game still could eventully become better then sims tho just it has such a long ways to go, for now u are better off just sticking with the sims if u already own it sense sims is way more establish with content and things to do with alot more features like disabling aging for starters.
Then why the hell are you on life sim game forum in the first place?
The Sims became a money grab for their shareholders and have totally lost track of what made it great , For me personally TS2 is still the best and the one i play the most . TS4 they screwed up from the start by trying to make it an online game with the restrictions that caused in the game engine and then got into a panic just before release with the fallout from Sim City being an online all time disaster , Now it id a buggy mess and instead of starting anew with a Sims 5 they say oh no lets keep throwing more and more overpriced DLC at Sims 4 and lets not fix bugs lets leave that to modders and then use those fixes ourselves
Inzoi will do some things differently because it comes from another continent,
I'm looking forward to it. I think both are good, and will continue playing both.
but have some problems with Sims and I don't like EA's machinations, To greedy.
2000€ approximately to play Sims 4 Complete is crazy.
I don't like the graphics of Sims that much, without mods.
too childish, too cartoonish.
hmm without mods I probably wouldn't even play sims anymore.
could also happen with Inzoi after a while
But I would see the rest of it when the full release is a year later or something like that
how the game develops in the long term.
a lot of users think the way you do, EA having a barmy and taking everyone for a ride. the pricing strategy is insane but still not on the level of train simulators just yet which are worse, however it is getting there. Imagine paying full price for all that in one go?
EA hasn't put any real effort into TS4 because they never had any competition and a complete monopoly in the market. Now with Inzoi out there and hopefully Paralives later in the year, this will become less a cash grab and more of an actual effort to bring some quality to TS4. However i have my doubts they will want to put an actual effort into it at a lower price. i guess we will see if this competition in the market gets EA to change its ways.
Inzoi gives me a lot more editing ability though. I also like that Zoi's speak in my language. :) Though simlish is fun too.
Honestly, I don't see them as the same game. I will be playing both for a while mainly because I have every sims pack known to man. Hopefully, InZoi will give me a new obsession. I know I have wished for texture editing and I am really enjoying that I can recover most anything with a texture of my choice. I can see this becoming more immersive with time and develoment. I mean, they can't give us everything in the beginning because then there would be no where to go, right?
