Comparing a game franchise that's been around for more than 20 years, with a single game in the series being out for more than 10 of those, to a game that has not even technically been released yet, never mind considered a complete product, is in no way a useful comparison at all.

If you ask that question in a year or two, then maybe a more accurate answer can be given. At the moment all we can really compare without it (probably) changing too much in the future is the graphical engine, and that unto it's own is a subjective matter, some people like the cartoon look of Sims 4, others prefer the realism that InZoi brings.

for me its sims. i perfer more artsy cartoony graphics personally and also its actually released so technicly as the person above me said. its better as of now. also i have don't have a super duper good gameing setup so for me and many others i likely won't be able to run InZOi well.

Sims 4 100% has more content... if you take all dlcs into account.
Base game of this even in early access knocks sims 4 base game out of the park. the fact it's getting official modding tools as well in a few months means it has the potential to explode with content.

I think both are going to be great for different reasons:

Sims has humor and is not afraid to lean into the fantastical a bit. Plus it has so much content (albeit pricy)

Inzoi is way better looking and the customization looks like it will be very impressive. Does not seem to lean into the fantasy like Sims does. However, sims did not really start out that way either as I recall.

Sims 4 has script modding. Everything and anything can be modded. Mods like MCCC & WhickedWhims exist only because of that.
Inzoi will only allow custom assets, clothes, textures, furniture and thats it, no gameplay modification. Simple as.

honestly I hope inzoi makes the sims ashamed of their lackluster DLCs and absurd prices, it's finally a decent competition to balance the market of the life sims

The thing i worry about inzoi is the art style, it aims to look realistic however it will never look realistic if we don't buy the best graphic card and have the game to run 100 times more npc in town, sims 4 is cartoonish, it is another dimension, I never imagine myself living in a sims 4 world, and I couldnt imagine myself living in inzoi world neither, it is lacking some characters and look generic.

I really look forward to inzoi gameplay, I hope is not click and wait animation like what i experience and hate in sims 4

You can control Zoi's directly, or Sims-style. No controller support yet, though.

To be honest - 3 days ago I would have said inZOI, but now I think Paralives might beat both....

Till it gets close to release and we all start complaining about it, too. Paralives won't be perfect either, look at the cartoony art-style (as if TS4 wasn't kidsy enough). We don't even have a release date yet.

I'll get both for sure, but probably neither will be a "Sims killer", at least to begin with.
