i am at 5120x1440 resolution fullscreen-window mode, beside of the intro videos it uses my whole screen. seems fine to me HUD is matched to my monitor and not only in the middle of it.
Edit: It shows in the settings my correct resolution only in fullscreen windowed and in window mode. the normal fullscreen mode only shows 16:9 resoltions

For me same as Deaburu - the ultra wide support only works in borderless fullscreen for-whatever reasons. Also have same resolution as you, Cow.

I put mine in to fullscreen mode thinking that would fix it, and now I can't click on anything in the menus. Even Alt + Enter isn't fixing it.

Pretty much convinced me not to buy this game :VBCOOL:

Borderless Full Screen or just Full Screen?

curious are you playing it now or you just talking about the character creator?
video isn't but that is normal, rest of the game seems to support
Yeah - to be honest - for modern game it's just weird to be honest...

When I switched it to fullscreen, all of the HUD and main menu butons were skewed. I managed to fix it by connecting my TV, launching the game, and then changing the options on there, then Shift+Win+left arrowing my way on to my main monitor.
when the city loads, ultra-wide will kill a 4090 and 5090 with Frame gen on. IT also tends to cause issues with NPCS for some reason

No it doesn't lol, why would you think that?
5090 will handle 4k ultra wide screen, even the 5080 would, at 1440p ultra widescreen it won't even max out the card and with x4 frame gen it will use x4 less GPU frames making the cards more than capable, you have to remember if you can only hit say 30FPS without frame gen, its going to bump that up to 120FPS without putting any extra stress on the card.

Cards are pretty beefy these days, they pretty much topped out with the 4090, but even still the 5080 and 5090 are solid cards and have slightly better base performance than the 40 series.

The issues with NPC's I could understand, especially during these scripted events as they might be set up for 16:9 resolutions (same problem occurs during cut scenes on other games which is why most of them revert to 16:9 by adding black bars to hide the scene set up and NPC spawning), depends how this game deals with that.

Same Issue... Can't click on anything now... Anyone know how to reset the video options to default?

Using the studio demo on my 21:9 monitor and works fine.
Same here cant click almost anything on a 3440x1440 monitor.

No 3440x1440 support on a game nowadays is pretty bad ngl
