I'm so confused... how do I get into the "game"
So I wasted an hour creating a character. Now I don't know how to load the character? Nor can I figure out how to start playing the game? Am I dumb or something? Do I need to have a "creator pass" or whatever to play this??

Game comes out on the 27th. The creation tool was a demo for exactly that, just creating.

Learn more about this demo

If you click that link, it brings you to the demo-specific store page. There it states that the demo is only a character and build studio. The full game is releasing later this week in Early Access.
Yall are missing my point. I've seen others playing the game. But it turns out they signed up for or where invited to play an unlocked EA test version. The demo most of us are getting is character creation and home stuff. Kinda lame but whatever. I didn't realize it was coming out already. So no biggie.

Oh thats pretty common, almost every twitch or youtube influencer in the genre gets some early access to games. Its to promote sales and drive marketing.

PEople always get angry about it but thats how marketing works, its not unique to gaming at all. Also a lot of peopel dont realize how this actually SAVES in charge backs, since some people often buy a game than return it once t hey actually play it. I remember reading somewhere that companies save like 5% in first two weeks which is kinda crazy.
I know it's common. But still bs. Just release the game for everyone to test out. It makes me think they are either unrealisticly proud of their game, or embarrassed by it. What's the harm in letting everyone test it? If it's good enough then people will buy it. From what I've seen personally, I may be one of the one's refunding. It looks very buggy and has some weird shader and reflection blur issues. But I will at least give it the good old two hour test.

Well im kinda glad, that streamer or what ever can play it before us, so i can tell by the gameplay if the game is worth buying for me. You dont have to watch them, if you dont want to spoiler yourself to much. Of course you need to watch streamer, wich showing the negative side of the game too :) .

Videos of Inzoi play has been going on for many months now. Prior to the 20th testers were given limited play that lasted only a few days and then was removed from their systems. This is the first they have gotten unrestricted access to the game. This isn't the first demo for the public. There was one last year that ran for 5 days. After that ended the Creator's Studio and all local files were removed from your system. This 2nd demo gives those who missed the previous demo a chance to learn how to build, create a Zoi, share their creations to Canvas, and so on. Then when the game is released you are ready to go right into game play.

What does it matter if the game had a limited release 7 days before the general public? Have you never seen ads for movies that say "in select theaters on ...." Those theaters show the movie a week before all the other theaters. How do you think newspapers and magazines do book reviews before the book is released? They get advance copies before the public. Have you never seen anything released in one country days before another country? It happens all the time with books, movies, and games.

They didn't have to release the demo again at all, but having it for a full 7 days before release lets us feel like we are a part of the release just like the influencers.

Character creation time is not wasted so long as you save your work as a preset; you will then be able to load this into the game once it releases.

The demo you are playing is only for creating a character and building houses. If you upload your creations to Canvas, you'll be able to use them when the game releases on Friday.
THE demo is character creator and to build houses to be placed on the lots in game at release.

IT is NOT the game, you must pay for the game. to get into the game and it releases late o nthe 27th.

It stated that clearly. It said it was a demo of character creation and house building ONLY. Zoi base design and homes can be saved to use at launch.

You will have to re-download it as the demo does not have any of the main game.

Thinking it is the full game when it clearly stated otherwise makes no sense.

Sure, but not everywhere is the USA. The given release date is 28th so it is less confusing to just say 28th.
