LGBTQIA+ REPRESENTATION MATTERS
My only criticism is that this game represents "everyone" except the LGBT+ community, and that makes no sense at all. The game may be Korean, but that's no excuse since there are gay, bi, lesbian people, etc., in Korea... I was excited, but I’m not sure if it’s worth buying a game that doesn’t represent me.

its supposed to be organic and neutral,
asking for something obvious sounds forced. it was already in the sims 3 so expect it to be the same in this game as well, otherwise it'll be a downgrade compared to its rival. i bet its gonna have gay relationships like in the sims series.

i don't know why ppl took something so simple and basic and turned it into part of some unpopular political new age wannabe group from the US.

The demo doesn't include any features related to personality or identity other than male/female. However, there are many content creators out there who have early access (to the early access, heh) and have shown off the full character creation.

To me, it looks like they have the perfect mix of reality and allowing for non-standard options. There is the binary "gender" selection, and then additional options for "gender identity" and as far as I can tell, no restrictions on what customizations you can apply regardless of gender selection.

As far as relationships, I am pretty sure you can not only have your Zoi pursue whoever you'd like them to, but can also affect the rates of non-standard sexuality throughout the entire city in each save file.

What more do you need?

ah like in the sims 3?.

in the sims 3 if you're a guy and flirted with another guy, it unlock the gay options and dating apps as a priority in your saved world. same if you're a women.

if you flirt with both, it'll change your saved game in the world to Bi options.

I haven't seen anyone directly attempt same-sex romance yet, but what I have seen and heard a bit of is that not everyone will be open to everything. Zois have preferences (which we can alter), and personally I love that. I'm tired of Sims who bend to the player's will regardless of who you're controlling. And of course, not only do we have options to modify how the entire city functions, but from what I've seen, we can instantly swap to any Zoi in any family at any time and modify them seamlessly.

So yeah. It looks like the best of both worlds, and I'm not sure what there is to complain about.

I'm pretty sure, there are options for gays and lesbians. I just hope they will not add any trans gender crap

oh no... i already hear all the keybardwarriors marching in regardless if the game supports lgbtq+ or not.

woop woop, cry me a river
Your zoi can have relationships regardless are titled sex. You can modify bodies regardless of chosen sex. A zoi can have romantic development with others regardless of sex or appearance.

However some aspects are still in development and being adjusted so be patient.

Just because 6 people in seoul identify as "LGBT" does not mean they represent all of Korea. This game aims to be open to all people. Pandering to the minority does not profit.
Don't buy

Krafton does want to be competitive against EA and make money, and best way to do it is by game being based and not going "MoDeRn AuDiEnCeS"-route. Since its a life simulator game set in current day world, different skin colours fits the game, hence nobody having problem with it, except for perhaps certain Puritan extremists who complain about Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 being "woke".
