Can't set traits or play game with character?

I have access to the demo through watching streams and I can only create a character or build a home but I can't actually play anything with my character yet. Character traits in the creator doesn't show up for me to select either. Just the options aren't even there, no UI.
Are you supposed to only be able to make a character or build a home in the demo? I was under the impression you were supposed to be able to play some of the main game with your character.

I just spent 2 hours customizing my zoi's outfits and now they're all gone despite the game telling me the zoi was saved...I'm really hoping this is just a bug and my outfits aren't gone forever...

Today is the release date of inzoi but my character is not saving and I can’t really play the but only customize my character and build mode

From what I can see, it only saves the first outfit.

However, you can save outfits themselves as presets too, but this might be 2 hours late.

Luckily, once you're on the released game this stops being as much of an issue.

I just made all the different outfits for one char and when I looked at another age version of that char it removed all the handcrafted outfits and defaulted to something else (for every season etc). Of course I hadn't saved them or anything. Really annoying bug.
