Nedd help. problem build doors on floors other then ground level
Hello Everyone. First of all thanks so much for Inzoi. :steamhappy: I am writing here as i am having some issue with build mode and need some help. I am building a nice house but when i have to place door on first floor and second and more it says me i can't build on that level. I can place all other items well. Any idea? Thank so much for all your help. Wish you all a great day.

same problem here.... and when I go to the third floor, it works again.... no clue why...
Same here, getting this error: "the arrow indicates the exterior, and you can control internal access through door permissions." But I'm not seeing door permissions and there used to be a door here, so not sure what to do! Can't put any doors on the second floor at all.
Same problem for me. As a workaround, you can use finished rooms.

After trying a bunch of troubleshooting for not being able to place doors, I found my issue was a small break in the house/walls on the first floor. I think it must have occurred when I pushed out the room one block/row and deleted the original wall (because it duplicated the wall when pushed out). This left a small 1 row floor panel next to the room's flooring. Guess my advice is to just scan around all floors to check for any broken rooms or small sections of floor/wall that could be merged.

I get this error as well as “cannot place on the corner of a wall,” when trying to place doors on other walls. Really hoping this gets fixed during EA! I actually don’t mind the build mode in this game so far other than this, I’m getting quite the hang of it!

I have the same problem, first floor, third floor where the door problem does not exist. It's always the second floor where I can't build doors. I even rebuilt the whole building and again the same problem. A halfway solution was: If I raised the floor of a room on the second floor slightly, I could actually build a door again. This can hardly be intentional, and is more than likely a bug. I hope this will be fixed, because it is very, very annoying.
