Last update and I still got the black screen...

I've been follow these instruction to solve the problem but it still not work.
I thought the new update would fix the black screen issue, but no. So I started the same old troubleshooting again, hoping it would work, but still not.

Black screen, unresponsive errors, unable to start game (missing executable) errors, failure to launch after displaying the "Preparing to Launch" message
I've got it all... doesn't matter how I try...

last year, I still remember being able to play and do character makeup, but this time I can't do anything. If I don't get a black screen, the game will crash without any message.

I tried every solution on youtube, official site, reddit, contacted the official website and discord, There was no way to solve my problem and I was confused about what I was doing wrong.

Reinstall the game, verify game file, put the game in firewall, disable in game overlay both in Steam and Nvidia, reinstall Visual C++, clear download cache, restart computer, put a launch options -dx11 or -dx12 or -d3d12, use UDD to uninstall graphic driver in safe mode and reinstall it with no internet, press an update windows button several times, run as admin, disable fullscreen optimization, run this program in win8 win7, I was so desperate that I updated the BIOS even though I knew it had nothing to work.

And since I still have my old SSD, so I decided to change it and try reinstalling Windows just to test this game. It's the last thing I did, ironically I still got the black screen with the new clean windows and purely latest graphic driver... fortunately, at least my files were still on the main SSD.

When I asked and posted the problem on Discord, the admin quoted my message to another admin and then went silent. Then I sent my issue to the official website, I got an email back saying that they were aware of the problem and thanked me for informing them. That's it...

my potato - 10400 / b460m / 3080ti / 48GB / SN770 1TB / Windows 10 / Game Ready 572.83...

'which mean there is no way I cannot run this game' at least my cpu has pass the lowest spec

So, I'm here, posting this with the sole purpose of seeking a solution. I don't want to criticize or be sarcastic to anyone. No.
But I just want to let the team know that this problem really exists. I don't know if anyone else has the same problem as me. Even though I reinstalled Windows, I still can't enter the game, which is very unusual. I just hope to get my problems solved and be able to play like any other can. That's all...

I feel your pain. Have the same problem, except the crashes. I pass first loading screen (InZoi Logo), the second one (shader screen ~ 100% done), the next loading screen I only got with a mouse click (notes for fictional characters aso.) and than: Black Screen. It is an active screen, because I can hear a cat purring and meowing, but that's all. I tried every solution I could find, except windows reinstall. The Character Studio Demo, a couple months ago, works brilliant. No problems and now that. I'm so frustrated. This is the first game since over 10 years which doesn't work on my PC.
My Machine: Ryzen 9 5900X | Zotac RTX 4070 Ti Trinity OC | | MSI MPG X570S EDGE MAX WIFI | Corsair Vengeance 32 GB RAM | 3x 4TB Samsung 990 Pro | Windows 10

now, when you see the black screen, just click in the down left corner and your mouse arrow became a hand. so click (the skip button on the video) and the game start!

U have to go to app data then local go to blue folder n delete everything but saved games literally fixed this for me lmk if u need better instruction

To people who use linux on a PC: use Proton-GE. That version is able to play the videos so you will be able to navigate through the menu without black screens. https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/GE-Proton9-26

Installing the game on a second drive cause black screen too. The game need to be installed in the default Steam folder.

Same issue here as well on PC - get to the inzoi title screen and then it disappears, but it's still running in the background per Steam and Task Manager....
