Is the only option to get a baby for married straight coubles?
I heard some people talking about that a zoi only can get a baby as a married zoi in a man-wife marriage. For a game that advertises realism this would be a big no go for me. Games like this are often the only escape and save place for people like lgbtq and this would be important for me that everybody is represented, even when I am not a member of the lgbtq community, but I was a single mom and would like to play as one too. So, is this true, when yes will this be changed?

South Korea has their own values system and the majority of the country are still hetreosexual, but that's not to say they don't have DEI of their own, it's just not as widely supported or noticed as it is in other countries.

Besides this anyway, biological facts are at least followed if true, two women can not get either pregnant, they require a bit of outside assistance and i'm so glad that absurd male pregnancies found in TS4 is done away with in Inzoi (i so hope this is true). Adoption is a good start, but if needed i'm sure there could be a means to create something like science babies from TS4 for Inzoi, only one of the parents in a homosexual relationship is related to the child and the other half of the child is from an anonymous doner. It's not like it's the end of the world for those who follow DEI to find a way to keep things going, that's if you want to follow realism instead of made up nonsense to cater to the DEI crowd.
The majority of every country is heterosexual lol, but I know what you mean. Krafton do seem to be quite in to DEI from what I have read, but being Korean their idea of diversity and inclusion is likely to be quite different, as Xautos said. It would be good if future developments remained more or less realistic, though; adoption and possibly donors or baby-mothers as options.

Otherwise I imagine single-parenthood to be perfectly possible in the way normally achieved in the real world.

There will be an option to adopt as an LGBT couple I believe. But my concern is mostly the married part. I'm big into drama when I play the sims and not being able to have children outside of marriage is honestly a big let down for me ://

Good point. Having children outside of marriage is definitely realistic no matter what our ideology may say about the matter!

Exactly, especially when it is supposed to be a realistic game.

Thanks for the answer. This would be good. But I still also want single mothers in a realistic game. This is an important point for me personally, as I raised my doughtier on my own.

Adoption on the way in the roadmap. But for sure the modders will probably figure something out LOL.
Well I think with how semi-realistic the game has been watching the streams. It's possible to be a single mom. After all you'll be making your family too in the character creation.

Maybe they'll release cheat codes that will let us set a person as pregnant. They said they'd be giving us cheat codes not long after launch, adding one for pregnancy would be a quick workaround.

That's very possible. but we will have to see how extensive the cheat list is and what is and isn't possible on it, let alone if it needs to be typed in long hand on a console or through a GUI feature instead.

i suspect though even if there were an option to set a female zoi pregnant, the game might ask who the donor is if there is no option in choosing no one else (in effect giving birth to your own cloned self).

I think the cheat codes are typed to the little helper cat at bottom right of screen.

Yeah as for a cheat code controlling the ability to set pregnancy it would likely be very simple and just use cloning, or maybe they could do everyone a solid and allow people to add name of one of the other zoids into the code as well so to set that person as the parent.

lack of inclusivity and diversity is not an excuse because of "culture" These people exist everywhere and should be represented. Thats what's realistic.

it is in South Korea. they have remarkably closed society following old customs and values they treasure a lot. in fact the current situation in South Korea is leading to a stall in population growth in the country because of those values that part of that culture are causing problems with every day life and stopping people from getting together and starting families.

DEI is still a new thing in South Korea, it's accepted but the footprint it has out there is so insignificant and it's unlikely to gain much if any traction until some values and customs are cleared out to allow people to seek what they want without fear of it impacting themselves and their families in public.
