I really like building but would love some tips from experienced buildings they go about for idea's or how they start a layout. ( maybe even with screenshots)

I don't even know what kind of options we have but build some half walls into my kitchen looks pretty good but did't find a option to find a open windows style. So i can have cabinets above the opening. I also saw a screenshot with a partly raised bedroom and that looked pretty good.

Still looking around are there landscape tools like easy way to make tiles or dirt paths?
