Character customization sucks?
I had to re-check twice before posting this but is there really only 1 type of nose, lips, and eye shape with some sliders for each? Every character looks so similar. Basic MMOs have more options than this, wtf? From the side every female character looks like they've had lip injections. Face sliders feel incredibly limiting, and the body sliders are just awful, breasts inflate like balloons, and the arms and legs look like sausages. I feel like I'm missing something, because for a game that's 30-50% about making characters, this feels incredibly half-baked.

Hope so, but I still think that this version of the character customizer should be better, even as an unfinished, early access product. Especially when it's going to be $40 USD. I understand that you get all the updates until full release, but it doesn't inspire confidence when this is the state of the game (customizer) that they're comfortable charging for, even in EA. But hey if you like it, that's awesome, not saying you shouldn't, just really hoping for more because it's definitely not sustainable for long in this state.

You know it's not that I think it's flawless or anything. There are lots of things I want to be implemented too.

I think once EA starts, it will be important for those who get the game, to provide helpful feedback and contribute to evolution of this game. After all they want to make it good for us, they don't want it to flop.

All I know is I am having so much fun with the demo and I'm excited for the future updates, the roadmap they shared. First update planned for may will feature changes to weight, muscle, create a zoi improvements, new clothes, mod support kits, changes to build mode, relationship improvements among many other things.
you got my points bro. So frustrated with the limitation face adjustment.
We only have the demo of the creation studio, so for sure they'll be more stuff on the EA release. And I go for the detailed editing, not basic.
For the hairs, if there isn't more that I want, I'll just wait until they release the mod kit (they said they will) so I can make my own. lol
Clothing options are also extremely limited. No idea what they've been working on all this time. There's literally only one hoodie in the game lmao.
I don't think people criticizing the face customization fully understand how it works. You can pretty much recreate any person's face in the game. There's a toggle for "Simple" and "Detailed" editing these aren't just the same sliders; they add new options. You need to use a combination of both modes and rotate the character, as the character's position affects how the sliders work to achieve the desired results.

I've successfully recreated several popular gaming characters using it, and I can confidently say it's one of the best character creators available. It reminds me of Dragon’s Dogma 2's character creator, though that one has better body customization. As for the lack of clothing, hairstyles, and accessories well, it's still in Early Access so give them time.
