No idea what I'm doing wrong but after adjusting my character and clicking on canvas I get a blank white small window with no further options and I can only close it. That whole canvas doesn't work for me

Open canvas and try to wait. Had the same problem and it started working after few minutes again.
If it won't work then no idea

when you upload to canvas you should get window to title it, describe it, set key words, take pictures for slides then finalize it to upload.

Canvas is very problematic sometimes it works, and other times it bugs a lot. You have to keep trying or restart the game to fix it.
