Anti-virus software detected threat Win32:BogEnt [Susp] (Open3D.dll and libcef.dll)

While downloading the game files via Steam after getting the access key, my anti-virus software, Norton detected threat Win32:BogEnt [Susp] for the files Open3D.dll and libcef.dll.
Anyone got the same issue? Is it false alert ?
Please help ! Thank you !

OK, Thanks for the info. I will consider that this sounds like it's a false positive situation with the file in question

I uploaded the file to virustotal to check

Only AVAST and AVG are detecting it as a malicious (suspected). Not sure if I am trusting it... any experts can advise?

After sleuthing around as much as I could about the file in question. I ended up allowing it, and resumed the download of the game. I have been playing the game now for the last 2 days, and my computer seems to be normal/fine... But I only allowed the file out of quarantine after I backed up my entire computer onto an external hdd, just to be safe, LOL!

IDK, it's probably a false positive like others have said. And others have also allowed the suspicious file in question when after they got an alert about it being suspect. It's just weird, because I have never had a warning about a file being potentially dangerous or suspicious during a steam download before.

aside from the wrong flags norton produces and how overall bad it is. just get rid of norton and use windows defender as long as you don't do sketchy ♥♥♥♥ online you're safe
