Anti-virus software detected threat Win32:BogEnt [Susp] (Open3D.dll and libcef.dll)

While downloading the game files via Steam after getting the access key, my anti-virus software, Norton detected threat Win32:BogEnt [Susp] for the files Open3D.dll and libcef.dll.
Anyone got the same issue? Is it false alert ?
Please help ! Thank you !

norton is a virus by itself, so ignore it

I have the same exact file being quarantined by my antivirus when downloading the game just now. It said: "We've moved Open3D.dll to your Quarantine because it was infected with Win32:BotEnt [Susp]

Has anybody else had this happen when downloading the game? Is this a false positive? Did anyone allow an exception to the file and let the file go through, and continue with the download? Is this a virus hidden in a steam download? My download is suspended until I decide what to do with the file. Not sure what to do. Any ideas would be helpful. I'm not sure how to put the file up on virustotal to see what it is. Thanks.

What do you mean "it's in a Third party folder"?

This is the file path where the quarantined file came from (below). So It looks like the quarantined file in question is from "downloading" and not "common", (common is where the game files actually are located after the game installs). Does this mean it's some kind of suspicious downloaded temporary file? Is this what @Krow means about "It in third party folder, are we SURE it's not Malware"?

Norton, Kaspersky, McAfee are all worse than the malware they pretend to protect you from. Stop wasting your money on these worse-than-nothing viruses, and run Windows Defender like a normal, functioning human being

Anybody get this warning and quarantined file, but then allow it anyway? What was the outcome?

Bitdefender is malware. Disobeys user import and settings and overrides and does it's own thing. Always wants to upgrade you to the latest and highest security. Even when you uncheck all the boxes and tell it no. The AV will still do it anyway. Just plain malware. Something you are using the product to guard against. Very ironic.

I never had any virus issues anymore since i use Windows Defender only (ca 15+ years on 4 different computers).

You do realize that is the DLL that gives instructions from the game to the windows operating system. It is in Dayz, Humankind and pretty much all games that have 3d rendering. If you don't do anything bad on your computer, All you need these days is the windows firewall and antivirus. The rest will just slow your computer down and give you false virus warnings.

I got a warning that my windows firewall want to block some files but I allowed it anyway. Haven't seen anything suspicious yet. But it's a first time that downloading a game from steam and windows firewall is trying to block something, lol.. I have just ignored canvas account verification for now because it was confusing.. Skipping to share or download anything so soon, probably some patches later... I wish this game was available offline though..
