well, I was excited
These requirements are a complete turnoff for me, I'm not even going to consider this game anymore.
Always online(bad idea)? DirectX 12(using this garbage is a bad idea)? locking out a fairly large chunk of people with the minimum graphics (bad idea)?
I feel like as developers you don't know your audience for this game.

Ryzen 5 2600x
GTX 1660ti
16GB DDR4

Still able to run.
if you can't run this game on low, then you should probably buy a pc, instead of trying to run it on a microwave

dumb people, this thread was created to farm clown awards
From the start it looked like a game that is for med to high end pc's. But a lot of ppl that are use to playing the Sims wouldn't listen. They only cared about the hype and saying this game will be a Sims4 killer. How can this game kill anything if half the ppl like you cant play it :winter2019joyfultearssnowman: I guess you have to crawl back to the Sims until you get a good pc
It sucks if your computer can't play something, obviously, but they have a right to make their game with whatever specs are required to realise their vision.

You expect a game with such realistic graphics to run on a 10 year old PC with integrated graphics cards, maybe?? Or a non gaming laptop? Some of you need to understand that you can't have everything and NEVER have to upgrade your devices! It's a demanding game that requires a powerful machine, that should've been obvious to the eye even without the requirements listed.

It was already obviously when they stated they use UE5, that enough should tell people they can't play this on their potato laptop/pcs.

I'm sorry, but these specs are pretty much in line for a modern game (and is actually below the specs for a PS5). The keyword is MODERN GAME. You should not expect a developer to make a game in 2025 that caters to people with archaic notebooks.

Life simulators are games that should absolutely take advantage of current-generation hardware. They're a genre where you should expect to have beefy CPU requirements, especially.

I don't know whose giving the clowns to people with based comments...

IF your game looks like inZOI, expect your pc to actually be on the mid to higher specs. Hey at least it ain't as demanding as MH: Wild, be glad about that.

And the people complaining, as a pc gamer or even a mid casual you should at least invest in upgrading your gaming pc hardware once in awhile. Especially if they can't handle UE5 games. Frankly you should of updated when UE5 came out.

And I would NEVER suggest getting a gaming laptop because that's going to be an expensive brick in a few years. Just invest in making your own gaming PC. I went through 3 in one year and learnt to just go with a PC.

DirectX 12 as a library is around since 2015. even integrated graphics of this era can play games made with that. maybe you are refering to the game engine Unreal Engine 5, that is has some issues.

Haha yeah, my laptop doesnt meet the minimum requirements, and the graphics arent even that great ;p

I was happy to finally see some competition for the sims, to motivate EA to try harder with the sims, but I think them graphics are going to be the bane of this game.

I am still going to buy it and I think its in best interest of anyone who plays the sims to buy this game so they can challenge EA but I dont hope for much here ;p

Because it's 2025, and developers should make games that take advantage of current generation hardware.

Besides, this game's requirements aren't even that outrageous compared to other AAA games.

Eewww! Intel HD graphics cards on a laptop, the worst of the worst. Only the truly desperate would rely on such a graphics processor. Pure potato worthy computer component.
