Then forgot about it and y'all been fighting for like 3 days 💀💀💀💀
Yeah, I'd have to be bored and drunk to read Kotaku as well. 😂
Like all the other games people said would end The Sims? This game is just going to be the same but with better graphics still going to have a ton of expansion packs that cost more due to the graphics and time it would take to make.
So you are looking for attention and can't say it.
Blocked.

Google. Is. Your. Friend.
The Sims 5, or Project Rene, isn't going to be a traditional sequel that you'd expect from the beloved franchise. In fact, the new game won't be replacing The Sims 4 at all, leaving many to wonder if Maxis and EA have cancelled the follow-up. Well, the good news is that Project Rene is still very much in the works.
It is not going to be here "before you know it" - It is in fact going to be a LONG time, if ever going to be a thing. They have instead chosen to milk sims 4 with paid CC (Think fallout4). If you have tried to play sims 4 recently and any of the DLC, it's a hot mess and crashes more than it works. In one way, i'm glad they are choosing to work on it and actually fix their mess, but they are not choosing to work on it to fix it. They are choosing to work on it to milk more money from people.
You also don't control steam, valve or any kind of these discussion forums. You and others don't get to control what gets discussed. If you don't like a discussion, don't take part and don't click on it. Games have been compared to others since the history of forever. Games have been discussed and compared in game forums also for a long time. You even get people asking for links to other games of similar nature.
Just because YOU don't like something, doesn't mean you get to dictate the rules.
Once upon a time, people had the same attitude about Sim City. No one believed it could be toppled and many tried. But eventually, due to how poorly EA has handled Maxis, and due to other devs improving, it WAS toppled.
The Sims is not some monolithic, unassailable institution. It is in decline and it WILL get replaced as surely as Sim City was.
