Sims 5 will have optional multiplayer. This one is listed as single player on the store page.

Honestly just LAN multiplayer would be amazing. I'd love to play this game with my wife. Online multiplayer opens the game to micro transactions and creepy individuals and I am not about that. At least make it like Animal Crossing New Horizons and I'll be super happy. Also, modding so we can make our own clothing and hairs like Sims 4.

You know there is multiplayer in Sims 4 with an addon. If you want multiplayer, try that.

Btw, why People say "i hope its singleplayer only"?
