Did this brick anyone else's SSD?
I Went to download this onto my SSD, seeing as it would be intensive... got an error, fine, then check and my SSD got bricked, can't even reformat it. It's the only thing I've done different so I'm wondering if others have has this issue or it might be something else.

nah, everything was perfect, sounds like your ssd was about to die before you tried this demo

Performance was extremely poor, game is very, very demanding for no understandable reason, intro wasnt even skippable for a minute or so.

I put mine on a regular HDD, my storage drive, and it ran fine for me. I could skip the intro just after she splashed the puddle. It could be just the straw the broke the camels back for you, so to speak.

Installed into an SSD NVME, no problem. Don't use cheap SSD because my friend bricked his cheap NVME with cyberpunk just by playing like 2 hours, probably same thing happened to you

Download Crystaldisk it's free and it'll trell you the health of the drive and if it's in read-only mode, then the drive is gone.

Your hard drive can't get bricked by a game unless it was already near that state to begin with.

Now if there was an actual issue with bricking, there would be way more complaints.

you're comically unhelpful, karumati. are you a dev? you make me like this game less. im not going to download it now after seeing all of your input and responses to others. really embarrassing

What is op describing is a ssd on end of it's lifespan, either too old or he is writing and erasing data too often like me, I onced downloaded and deleted gta 10 times in only 3 days :)). A lifespan of ssd is usually around 200-500TBW or more on newer ones. If you write and detele stuff non stop on it you reduce it's lifespan.

What you are describing is a cpu problem, buy new one, probably u also need a new ram and motherboard, sounds like your cpu is very old.

Nope. The Character Creator Demo worked perfectly for me. Download CrystalDIskInfo to check you TBW (Total Host Writes in CDI) on your SSDs. My most used 4? year old Samsung 970 EVO SSD has 11 TBW.

I have 40TBW(4 years old) on one SSD and 13TBW(1-year-old) on the other one. 92%good with 99%.

That's not good, but has nothing to do with this game or any other game on steam :))

The game ran perfectly fine for me. What type/brand of SSD was yours?

No, it didn't, and it wouldn't make any sense if this was the case. Your disk was already dead, it's just a coincidence.
