Devs please ignore the very small minority pushing woke/trans agenda

Dear devs,

Please do not listen to the very small, but very loud minority that is trying to push transgender and woke agenda into your new game.

It is so super refreshing and nice to see in 2024 that there are still developers that are going for a more classical approach in these matters.

Just male or female. We do not need more. It has worked fine for hundreds of years. There is no reason to change it now because there is a very small but loud minority that are yelling and spamming how the 99.999% has to change for the 0.001%

Many games like The Sims and many others have these forced political correct transgender or other woke agendas in them. It is really frustrating that they add this when only a very small minority actually cares about this.

It is great to see that developers focus on more important matters.

Still I think it is a very very small amount of people that legit care. Most people just post they want transgender stuff to troll in order to get attention. The media is pushing the whole woke and transgender propaganda and they are trying to make it look bigger than it actually is because it is a business model for them. But in Korea this isn't an issue luckely and in the west it is also going away thank god. Go woke go broke.

Ngl this post makes no sense. Having it in the game disturbs you just because you're mad it exists in the real world? Why are you so mad? Having it as an option makes no inconvenience to you. Plus LGBTQ isn't politics. Gender and sexual orientation have always been a thing. What do you mean it's worked for hundreds of years? It hasn't whatsoever. Why do you think it's more of a thing now? Because people have the ability to come out about it without being attacked. It's a thing in the west, a thing in Europe, and a thing in Korea. It's not going away either, you're just not seeing the news mad about it as much. Representation doesn't affect you whatsoever. Personally I don't care whether it's in the game or not. A trans girl is a girl, a trans boy is a boy. It's not that serious, stop being stingy.

Why are you so pressed about something that has nothing to do with you? The devs aren't going to care about your opinion on this matter, because they care about the majority of their audience. You are the minority in this genre.

It's very strange that you care so much about what other people choose in game AND in real life. Why are you obsessed with what other people have going on? Is your life THAT boring?? Or are you that uncomfortable with yourself that you can't help but project your blaring social ignorance onto others? Just because you don't understand the human experience, doesn't mean you should control others experiences in life. Your "values" are from a small amount of time on earth. That's not how humans are meant to live. Humans are complex are meant to live freely.

For me, it's about how much of the game content revolves around it. If it's in the game, fine, if it's not, even better, but i just don't want to run into it every where i turn.

As long as I'll be able to turn on/of whatever I please and there will be an actual gender, not body type A and body type B - I'm more than satisfied.

Also, I think making characters straight/gay/bi upfront is a good idea. It's more realistic that way. I hate the idea where everyone are bi.

There's a bit more to wokeness than just 2+ genders or 2+ pronouns in a character creation screen. This is pretty easy to ignore so long as it only really pertains to your own character's profiles and every other generated NPC you click on doesn't have their "preferred pronouns" basically listed on a badge on their shirt, where the NPC is blatantly male but wants to identify as a 'she/her' or something. This is irrelevant information and would be pandering.

A "life simulator" isn't really based upon currently reality, anyway. It's a life simulator because it allows you to simulate life in whichever way you want to. At least if properly designed. Exaggerated displays of wokeness doesn't need to be in the game by default because the 'wokes' can just pretend that everything is perfect in their own little world. You really don't need to see an entire street painted to look like a rainbow flag because you can just assume that the LGBTQ community in your own world is accepted without issue. Or, players can just choose to paint their home rainbow if they want. We don't need to see stuff like that just existing naturally in the game without our decision to implement it or accept its existence. That's virtue signaling.

By exaggerated displays of wokeness, this basically means that not every other NPC in the game is transgendered or gay. Yes, these people exist in reality but no, they aren't a majority. A few gay couples or transgendered people sprinkled here-and-there is fine but some video games take it to the extreme and that's not necessary. It becomes the point of over-representation.

I couldn't care less what people do or who they are but my games don't need to be overwhelmingly woke where it represents everybody else but me. And if equal representation is important, then yes, that includes people like me.

Unfortunately, The Sims has a lot of that stuff in it because its biggest audience are women and women have evolved to be sociable and highly agreeable and so they can't really criticize anything (except white men) because it makes her feel like a bigot who would be outcast from her social groups. inZOI will no doubt be the same.

It is an agenda when you force people to perceive you the way you want. You fail to understand that it is well within a person's right to not accept you for any reason. All of what is going on today became an issue when a radical group of LGBT people decided to make it an issue when Donald Trump became President prior to that there was no problem.
