ParaLives is better in a lot of ways

It's gonna be the better pick to be the one that dethrones TS4 and EA in general. Paralives has way more customization out of the gate, If you want to check out the Patreon page it's worth a look. I give them $5/month & have done that for years. The build mode is what sets PL apart from TS4 or any other Sims game, curved walls, variable depths for floors and tons more. InZOI looks cool, but hyper-realism is a hindrance in some respects. Not to mention the SSD requirements, 75-95 GB just for a life sim, wow.

Who doesn't have an SSD in this day and age, why do people complain that they can't play a modern game on a computer from 1999, get a new computer or quit complaining

pretty cool paying a company $5/month that makes tens of thousands a month on top of that for years for vaporware with no release date or demo in sight, how's that going for you?

I always wanted a Sims-like game that has more realistic graphics. Inzoi fulfills that. Paralives takes a complete different route and go way more cartoony. Besides, Paralives smells too much vaporware and probably won't come out in a foreseeble future. More pity though that Life By You was cancelled, since THAT game felt like a spiritual successor to Sims 3, which could've easily dethroned Sims series.

We should be able to enjoy both, without getting into stupid arguments which is better. The more games we have in general the better, so no need to have this weird battle which one is better, especially when neither of these are out yet.

This. I would like to play both, and am hoping to get the opportunity to do so as I expect both will have their strengths and weaknesses, and neither will be perfect.

Ditto. I just hope that both inZOI and Paralives are both easy enough to mod so the fans can bring out the best looks in the characters of each game.

That's a good point, too - we need mods in our life sims, that is for sure. In fact, if co-op or MP were introduced, character (and building) customisation would become even more important...
