ParaLives is better in a lot of ways
It's gonna be the better pick to be the one that dethrones TS4 and EA in general. Paralives has way more customization out of the gate, If you want to check out the Patreon page it's worth a look. I give them $5/month & have done that for years. The build mode is what sets PL apart from TS4 or any other Sims game, curved walls, variable depths for floors and tons more. InZOI looks cool, but hyper-realism is a hindrance in some respects. Not to mention the SSD requirements, 75-95 GB just for a life sim, wow.

This game doesn’t need nasa computer and yet looks great.
game looks fine, you gotta remember most people who are interested are sims players. they don't care about next gen graphics.

Inzoi will also come to consoles (was confirmed just yesterday), so you don't even need a gaming PC to run the game

Paralives is just an indie game milking people on patreon, lol
Huh, that seems a bit sketchy. They're running it like Kickstarter. Bringing in $52K+ CAD per month apparently. And you need the Hero tier to gain access to the channel to ask the developer questions, or three months of the legend tier (max tier) to name an item and get a signed poster. Milking for sure as over 7,000 people are throwing them money each month. Hope they at least give those long time subscribers a steam key.

Yeah, Paralives is making half a mil a year on patreon. All the reason to drag out development as long as possible.

It makes sense to use a "wait and see" approach (edit: for Paralives) especially since there's inZOI and Vivaland on the way. (The Sims 5 has been delayed until c.2026.)

the big thing between all these games is graphics and no matter how robust the other ones are the fact that this game looks visually better is going to give it a huge edge

So 5x12 = $60 per year, you say you've done that for years, for at least $120.

Congrats, you paid (at least) the equivalent of 2 AAA games for a project that still doesn't have any release date announced.

All those games that are on patreon will never get released. Why would they? They are already providing a steady monthly income for the dev, and as soon as they finish the game, the income will stop. It's litteraly the inverse of a normal game, where they have monthly bills to pay and need to release the game so they can have an income to pay the bills. Here, they have absolutely 0 reason for finishing the game, the bills are paid and the longer they take, the more they make.

Why would they kill their golden goose?

there is zero reason for them to ever stop patreon it's like a trap they don't want that income ever stopping. Those games are probably the worse of the worse because like stated above they don't want to finish it.

That's your opinion. InZoi looks okay from what I saw, but the requirements to play it are gonna limit the heck out of who can buy it. Paralives seems to not take a NASA computer to run it.

People need to stop trying to play games on potatoes. Then complaining that the games won't run well. It's all well and good playing on potatoes and letting stuff run like butt-cheeks. But don't COMPLAIN when you play on potatoes and it runs like said butt-cheeks. UPGRADE. YOUR. HARDWARE.

Just because it's not a potato does not make a game a nasa computer.. Jesus. :lunar2019grinningpig:

I would upgrade my hardware, but Joe & Kamala made earning & keeping money nearly impossible. I don't know how anyone likes them, unless they love being broke.

People don't really like them. They're mostly just voting against Trump and Vance.

Compared to new games in general inzoi seems alright, system requirements are not that high
