It makes sense to use a "wait and see" approach (edit: for Paralives) especially since there's inZOI and Vivaland on the way. (The Sims 5 has been delayed until c.2026.)
So 5x12 = $60 per year, you say you've done that for years, for at least $120.
Congrats, you paid (at least) the equivalent of 2 AAA games for a project that still doesn't have any release date announced.
All those games that are on patreon will never get released. Why would they? They are already providing a steady monthly income for the dev, and as soon as they finish the game, the income will stop. It's litteraly the inverse of a normal game, where they have monthly bills to pay and need to release the game so they can have an income to pay the bills. Here, they have absolutely 0 reason for finishing the game, the bills are paid and the longer they take, the more they make.
Why would they kill their golden goose?
I would upgrade my hardware, but Joe & Kamala made earning & keeping money nearly impossible. I don't know how anyone likes them, unless they love being broke.
People don't really like them. They're mostly just voting against Trump and Vance.
And yet you just wasted our time with your opinion... Let's not be a hypocrite.
