I feel like the creater seems limited. Everyone sort of looks the same.

Obviously I don't know much about the full game or the game in general other then its a way better looking sims. But the character creator seems limited. Aside from skins tones, everyone sorta looks the same in the end. I realize they are pretty much modeled on asian people of course. But can't really get rid of that asian sorta look.

And overall there isn't many areas you can adjust for your body. Needs more sliders and places to drag around. Same goes for clothes and stuff to wear, limited stuff, many locked behind certain colors. I had a cool latex sort of outfit but its locked to black.

Again, I realize the full game will probably have WAY more options when it comes to clothes, accs and so on. I just hope the body and other stuff does also. For now its to bland and everyone looks the same.

4 women, and all of them look like twin sisters. I think this is more of a case of goon brain than issues with the editor though, dinara's look pretty diverse.

only gripe i have thus far is that men arent allowed proper eyelashes (i guess men dont have them or something /joke) and i wanted more options for the nose, like being able to turn the tip around and making the face slimmer/longer. i tried to do a rounder face but it wasnt as easy as i wished it was, might be able to get to it though with some more practice.

It's not the most detailed character creator. That spot belongs to games like CK3 and DD2 or Skyrim with mods included.

Every picture of different looking creations people have posted in here all have the same round tipped noses. The way that it deforms makes it impossible to make it realistically sharp. Hopefully by release they either have presets that have deformations in different areas or just more sliders.

Either way, I'm not stressing a whole lot since Mods will probably come to the rescue anyways.

This. I figured to learn the creator I'd try to make a celebrity. Chose Anya Taylor-Joy because she has pretty distinctive features I thought would be easy. Nope. Couldn't get it to look anything like her and consistently struggled to make her not look asian.

Very much this, the main issue I was finding at the moment was that when trying to design hair I wasn't able to make an umbre look. maybe i just haven't played around enough but I feel like having the option to swap out sections of hair for different options and change how the colours flow would be nice. that and hopefully a more in depth option for make up. I'd love to be able to layer more make up options together. I'm hopeful for the final release. I'd just like more options for the body and face.

exactly, there's no real variation, i want to make a bald, fat slob to RP as a hobo in-game but so far all CC options aim for the Second Life level of wish fullfilment

I think my characters turn out quite diverse. Indeed, it all depends on how you use CaZ.
But this does not change the fact that having presets for individual parts of the face would greatly simplify the work.

It sucks, very underwhelming character creator for a life sim game..only people who enjoyed it are just too used to the garbage western slider A and B option editors, this should have been one of the strongest points of the game to begin with...

Oh my god, the nose was the place where I realized I was going to find the creator lacking. Like I wasn't sure as I was shaping the face/head, and then when I got to the nose, it solidified to me that there was too much lacking for how detailed the game is trying to be.
