oh no an email? maybe stop using gmail and you'll actually find that a good email service automatically filters crap out for you. or just use a gmail account for gaming that you never use, and a personal email address for important things, then keep them separate.
ya'll the type of people to put "woke-destroyer-69-420@gmail.com" on your resume and wonder why employers never contact you. so here you are, complaining about a free program like brokies do.
oh no, i have to click the button that makes my **free** password manager automatically create accounts/sign-in for me. OH NO THE HORROR.
The launchers are for propriety rights, and the ability to apply certain guidelines and protocols directly through them, without Steam.
A good example is a micro transaction in a game store, or even DLC. ANY sales, or in game purchases, etc. Through your connected account, is direct. No tax for Steam to skim.
If the game doesn't have an account launcher. It doesn't really matter, as the transaction will go through steam regardless, and they take a commission, per sale.
That is why most things with a transactional component will have a launcher to it, unless it is owned by Valve or has some deal.
This is free at the beginning but can be prohibitively costly in the long run.
The cost for premium stuff is generally an up front fee.
This is paid at the beginning with no extra costs later down the road (excluding expansions and support dlc)
Pick your poison. You can't play something for free and not expect the devs to continue creating content for nothing in exchange.
Sea of Thieves requires an account and to use the Xbox App.
Some games also require the Ubisoft App or others.
I don't see what your point here is about requiring a Krafton account... How else are you meant to upload, download and share your creations?
If you read, in order to use Canvas features and upload created houses, zois and items as well as share them, you need the account. There is no ability to do that on steam itself.
The Krafton account is NOT NEEDED to play the game and save locally.
If you want to download homes and items yes you need it, or to share yes you need it.
ENOUGH SAID.
they changed the requirement.
you don't have to make an account anymore in order to play. they made it optional now as it should be.
