Also never heard of Krafton so I have zero idea if I should or shouldn't consider them trustworthy with any of my information.
A simple google/bing whatever search would help you, they have some games but sure, u never heard of them. trolls https://krafton.com/en/games/
Also Fun Fact: Steam automatically handles your account creation for most 3rd Party Games; which is why you never have to login to an alternate launcher; that being said, it's a security risk to actually connect accounts at that level.
As for OP making an account versus downloading and maintaining a third-party launcher 🤔 I think I'm fine with making an account and ditching EA completely
(+ also no way to quit the demo without signing up.. bit of a dark pattern even if just poor design )
Anyway, turns out easy enough to unlink if you're not planning to play:

then, Personal info -> Delete your KRAFTON ID
