It would be nice to know your specs, to see if this is normal not.
I have a 6 year old rig and just tuned some settings down and the creator runs 60-ish FPS at 1440p with zero issues(the main menu is a bit laggy on launch but that's it.)
Processor: Ryzen 5 2600x (slightly below spec but overclocked runs fine)
Ram: 32 GBs of DDR4 (I invested in extra ram since it's generally a cheaper upgrade)
SSD: 1 TB Last Gen Samsung (not even an NVMe)
Graphics Card: RTX 2060 with only 6 GBs of vram
- Didn't even have to set all the settings to minimum. As far as I can tell the 8 GB vram requirement is only because of the AI texture model they use. If they allowed for lower resolution textures I could probably even run that since I have ran my own SD build locally. RTX cards is a must for AI on a local machine though so if you have an AMD card you can't use it. Same with DLSS which can help, though I personally find it to be a coinflip.
I'm actually running pretty close to recommended specs (RTX3070 and R9 5900X with 32GB (only around 11-12 are actually used while in Editor - Windows and stuff included).
It actually took my PC a few moments after booting up the first time (also some stuttering, etc) but ran flawlessy afterwards.
(I actually got the same issue with S4 anyway, so probably not even this game's fault)
In short: If you stick to at least recommended specs, you should be having a decent experience.
influencers/internet people have access to it atm and everyone wanted to at least try the create a zoi feature, so the devs brought it out for a 5 day demo. its still in dev and they're taking on feedback. obvy I didn't get the early dev mode, cos my pc isn't compatible but just wanted to make it clear and why its just a character creator.
Ps: I'm basically the sad kid looking into a cosy home, watching everyone play with their new toy at christmas when I got a lump of coal with my nose pressed against the glass.
Honestly that recommendation probably assumes you're going to have ray tracing on and a few other things that I can easily tinker and fix up for my needs, but I'm curious how their computers are in their country to require relatively new components for a recommended experience.
Granted these parts came out a few years ago, but that's still a chunk of change people tend to not have. (unless they take the time to just save money.)
