Thank you! In my dxdiag DirectX 12 Ultimate is Disabled. How do I enable it?
It always said; ''DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument. ''
Here is what I did:
- right-click on your computer's desktop, click on show more options and another small window will pop up. select NVIDIA Control Panel (or any compatible graphics processor)
- now you should see ''3D Settings'' with 3 blue option lines, select ''manage 3D settings'' (2nd option)
- click on the ''Global Settings tab'' and choose ''High-performance NVIDIA processor'' as the preferred graphics processor in the drop-down bar
- scroll to almost the bottom of the following list and change the 4 ''Texture Filtering Settings'' (if possible, I was only able to change 3 of them) to the following:
Texture filtering-Anisotropic sample optimization ''on''
Texture filtering-Negative LOD bias ''Allow''
Texture filtering-Quality ''High Performance''
Texture filtering-Trilinear optimization ''On''
Hope this helps :) enjoy
