so i can play on my steam deck and rog ally easily. This could easily be a game changer for your game and a 'killer' feature. Imagine countless of cozy gamers out there that are used to playing on controllers.

The Sims sucks because of this, there's no proper controller support unlike back in the PS2/PSP days. Even the current-gen consoles have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ controller support.

You can play Sims 4 on the Deck, there is a great community setup for it, apart from that, I wouldn't get my hopes up this game even runs on the Deck or even the base ROG Ally / Legion Go. If you're lucky MAYBE the ROG Ally X but it boils down to optimization and the simple fact that this will be a demanding game, provided it ever releases.

I'm also negating release time frame. For all we know, there will be a Steam Deck 2 or Ally 2 by the time this ever does does release, IF it does release.

All that aside, I agree with OP, implement seamless controller support.
