English will be added later, but no eta. I'm actually surprised of the price tag.. was expecting maybe around 40-50$ CAD. Especially when the Developer/Publisher barely have anything under their belt.

With that price tag though, I hope it's like OT:R. I'll consider the full price, but with Eng subs.
In Russia it's almost $75 CAD :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Yeah, I mean if it looked like a SOA games that would be one thing, but this? NIS America has been releasing their old PS1 and PS2 classics lately which look better and are cheaper.

I disagree with it looking like an RPG Maker game. I was initially drawn to it by the pixel art style. It gives me the same kind of vibe as like an Octopath Traveller or Triangle Strategy. That being said I still think the price tag is too high

yeah, I agree that the price is absolutely too high, but I'll hope it offers at least 30 stages or so

I can't imagine them stretching a story THAT long for a Goblin Slayer game, but we'll see

I feel like a game like this will probably only have 20 stages at most and should've been priced closer to $30

EDIT: just got it and it's downloading now

barely 3GB, lol...

it's not looking good, bros

The only solace is that it seems to go up to Goblin Slayer 2 material, since it is featured at the bottom of the title menu, so at least there’s that I guess.

how do u like the game afterall?
Fenrir Feb 29, 2024 @ 6:39pm
I refunded it after realizing it plays more like a VN with SRPG elements sprinkled in rather than a SRPG with VN elements sprinkled in. I hate when promotional material shows off all this combat like it's the main attraction of the game only to get the game and have to sit through 40 minutes of dialogue before I get my first battle, then they expect me to do it all over again.

I'll say ONE good thing about it, but that's it. If you enjoy reading the LN, you'll love this game. It has a **** ton of inner monologue and stuff, so they definitely don't bother leaving anything out. There's a TON of talking, explanations, and so on.

If I wanted a VN, I would've bought one. I wish I didn't get baited by the promotional material, but this will be my first and last Bushiroad game. I'll be avoiding their games from now on.

^Sounds like the game for me. Although I understand lack of gameplay can irk gamers who actually want to play. Crazy right?

Yeah, it's fine if you like very story heavy games, but after watching the trailers and stuff, I was under the impression it was a SRPG first and a VN second. I'm fine with SRPGs having a story. What I'm NOT fine with is VNs having SRPG elements just sprinkled in as a secondary thing because they needed a "gameplay hook" to complete the game.

It just ends up feeling lazy, that's all. Honestly, they should've just made this game a full blown VN with different routes for choices and stuff, giving the player options on how to handle the goblins or whatever in the story.
