Was the 40% faction military?
There was a reason. It would be nice if the game told you, but you probably know what you were doing. As a ♥♥♥♥-your-demands dictator... I know specifically the reasons they come after me and they respond to those specific reasons that I either create or ignore.
I also know how to survive uprisings. You know those guys in the tanks and with the guns? Keep them happy and try to remove unreasonable ones. They are a significant factor in surviving - even if most of the population is otherwise against you they can mow down a lot of civies.
You want to go through and make sure your military doesn't have a bunch of low approval people. YOu know... like for me it would be people that want a church. I got news for them. Its not my job (the governments job) to build their stupid church. If they want one they build it - and since they wont... they dont get one.
I would throw them in prison... for reducation... but SOMEONE didn't put prisons in the game.
Sure about that? ;-)
A remember a big issue at launch, was there was a non reported revolt factor. If you do things like execute people (which before prisons, you had to do sometimes), you build up revolt. This isn't tracked in other stats. So many people would do things that would add to "revolt" then they would get rebellions "for no reason". "Revolt" also did not seem to be related to # of rebels or # of people joining the rebels.
It seems like it still might be the same and it still isn't being communicated to the player. There is something you are doing that is making people mad, but it is not being tracked in the stats, or by the rebels, so you think it's happening for no reason.
But unless rebels really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate apartment buildings, nothing can have caused my rebellions.
Again, democracy specifically states uprisings don't happen, they still happened. Didn't answer that for me.
By the way, most of the rebels were on the side of Communists, Globalists, and Environmentalists, which I had 100%, 80%, and 73% standing with respectfully.
None of my army defected. They were entirely on my side.
