People claim its a bad game cause their using unsupported hw, but that's their issue and not the fault of the game.
and it shows me which consititution articles they like.
It doesnt tell me if they think i have enougth housing or health care or anything like that.
I suspect that stems from the way that the almanac changes graphs when you simply mouise over items, which I believe makes people think that there isn't any more information else it would already show up for them. We must remember that not everybody is a clicker lol.
As to the OP, I guess it will depend on you. I think the game is not nearly as bad as some people are trying to portray it as. It still needs a little more refinement in my opinion but it's not a bad game to me by any stretch of the imagination.
Problem is that the multiplayer is pretty much dead in the water right now due to all the issues its having and there are problems with the single player not loading story missions or crashing.
My machine can handle the Crysis series of games so I know for a fact it's not my rig having issues. They're putting up patches and it is fun to play but it launched unfinished and frankly this is the sort of bs I expect from EA appeasing its shareholders.
This is exactly the situation
This game is awesome, a excellent addition to the Tropico series of games.
awesome as it is there are still problems.
Edit: thankyou for editing that.
You play the same two islands over and over, and anything you previously built on them carries over, so you tend to 'game the system' by not winning when you can, but by building as much as you can before you win, so the next mission on the same map is easier or has more developed. I also get tired of playing on the same islands.
Regular farms, upscale restaurants, childhood museums, and other buildings have been removed. Combined with the Era mechanic, this means in the early game (2-3 missions worth) you have a very limited amount of buildings. In Entertainment for example, you have the Pub and the Restaurant, and that is it... no more entertainment buildings until 3 entire missions in.
But, I'm enjoying myself now... just don't think I'll be replaying the campaign missions ever. Spending so much time on one island over and over, and I'll not want to replay them.
