I play this on my desktop but I have two laptops, one of them has an Nvidia GTX 560m which I know will allow me to play, but my smaller more earth friendly laptop has dual, with an Nvidia GTX 660m as well as the Intel HD 4000 so I'm assuming it would also have the same issue you are having as it seems the game simply can't see beyond the first GPU.
Kind of bummed that a 6 year old (proabably older) card doesn't work with T5...wow...
The OP's quoted card is DX11 compatible... http://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-gt-555m/specifications
Nearly all the Nvidias over the 400 mark are DX11
Again, I'm going to assume that if you can't force it through the Nvidia control panel then you'll need to contact Kalypso/Haemimont and let them know about the problem as they'll likely be the only ones that will be able to fix this issue for dual GPU laptops.

The GT 555M that he has is DX 11 compatible:
DirectX DirectX 11, Shader 5.0
